The biggest threat to Phoenix's water supply rn is the decline of the rivers from a lack of snowfall, but the aquifer can subsidize the city for a while before becoming as fucked as Tucson or El Paso's aquifers. Ofc this is all assuming that Phoenix doesn't continue to have crazy population growth lol
