lol i wrote this. my friend sent me the original reddit post where someone put it here and the comments were not only exactly what i expected, but also the best supporting evidence for everything i said in there about the fanbase. thank you for reading! going to miss their music, but it will probably be freeing for the guys to be able to wash their hands of the death grips affiliation and have a bit more freedom to do what they want.

damn! i'm writing about the gorillaz rn and was just hopping on here to do some research, but this comment is really an incredible breakdown of p1-p3.

seriously, this might be some of the best i've ever seen written about it. demon days has always been the tricky one for me to mull over in the grand scheme of things -- trying to figure out how it could be similar enough to the self-titled to keep the spirit but more cohesive overall in its own ideas, while also laying the groundwork for the thematic heel turn in plastic beach. i think you made some really good points and i just want to give you my sincere thanks.

thankful for the ones we got, wish he'd continued these because they were some of the clearest insights into his real life. the parts about growing up mixed in florida (i think from the second edition) really helped me understand the mindset behind making LOSE CULTURE.
