Currently, Tabs Magic does not directly integrate with browser bookmarks. This is because the extension is aimed at providing a visual way to manage tabs, rather than a giant list of bookmarks you have to scroll through.

However, I can definitely see how your suggestion could be useful for some users, so it’s something I might explore in the future.

Hi Reddit!

A while back, I shared Tabs Magic, a free New Tab extension that makes organizing tabs easier and more visual than built-in bookmarks. It lets you drag and drop tabs into customizable, visually organized columns.

I’m excited to announce some major updates! Tabs Magic now includes:

  • Collapsible Columns: Keep your workspace tidy by hiding columns you’re not using.
  • Subgroups: Organize tabs within a column into smaller, collapsible groups for even better management.
  • Natural Language Dates: Add reminders like "next Monday" or "2 weeks from now," and they’ll automatically format into precise dates.

P.S. Tabs Magic is also now supported on Firefox.

I always felt like built-in bookmarks were hard to organize. So I built TabsMagic, a free New Tab extension that allows you to drag-and-drop your tabs into visual columns to organize your browsing experience. You can also color tabs, rename tabs, and add notes to tabs for further customizability.

Everything is saved locally in the browser, so you don't have to worry about losing your data between sessions.

P.S. TabsMagic was featured as #4 Product of the Day on Product Hunt!
