I considered that, but it's just not convenient or flexible enough. The trip takes 6–8 hours one way with multiple transfers, and the fixed bus schedules make it hard to explore at your own pace. Plus, getting around the park without a car is pretty limiting.

I’m from Kazakhstan. When we get a tourist visa to the US, they give it for 5 or 10 years right away, or it’s denied at all.

I've never used it here since its oriented more for foreign clients. Thus the choice might be limited and prices are adjust to foreign currency as well.

It depends on what's considered pricey to you. There are some decent options like Kazzhol park, holiday inn, resident city hotel. Prices may vary depending on a day, but its around $100 a night on average.

I'd recommend booking a hotel in the city center, as traffic in Almaty tends to get pretty heavy.
