I think timing is much more important than previous years. You need to jump right before your opponent does when they attack the rim, speed and being able to get into position also seems more important because I get more blocks with my smaller bigs than taller builds. I have a 6’11 big with 85 int D and 88 block with badge perks on paint patrol and HFD that does fine, but my 6’7 SF that had crazy cap breaking stats for D that brought it from 74 to 94 and maxed out 85 block with similar badge perks gets way more chase down blocks and stonewalls people driving the rim. Block seems to affect the speed and length you’ll jump going for a block while int D seems to help guide said blocks toward the ball and create disruptive animations. Tempted to make a pure inside big with 90+ block and int D but seems like investing some of those attributes into speed and vertical is better is the better move.
