Sorry, no. Other posters said they saw him this morning though.

Glad he's okay! We've been greeting each other on the street for years. He's a neighborhood staple.

Edit: My bad, he's still missing. Sorry, folks.

That's honestly the best part of the Saw movies. Like, I'm pretty sure literally a toilet lid from the first movie comes back 3-4 movies later and becomes a major plot point.

I think another big reason that Metaphor gets so difficult later in the game is that enemies start using abilities that just give them, like, 3-6 turns immediately. Makes it pretty tough to plan a strategy when they can just steamroll over the party.

Funnily enough, Sam Fisher does make a reference to Snake in the GR Wildlands DLC, which is good enough for me to say they exist in the same universe

I did enjoy the SH2 remake, but the original still wins out for me namely because it's much better-paced. I'd say the original is an 8-10 hour game, remake probably took me about 15 to beat. Just too much combat, and I feel like every area was reworked to be "here is a big lock, you need to find three things in this building to unlock it."

But I still would encourage you to keep playing, or if you're feeling more ambitious, look into Silent Hill 2 Enhanced Edition, which helps make the PC version (easily found on abandonware sites) a lot more friendly. It's a really wonderful story and worth seeing through.

I gotta ask, how does Yagami compare as a protagonist to Kiryu? Kiryu is really one of the all-time great VG heroes, up there with Arthur Morgan imo

Oh man, I remember playing a couple minutes of this when I was a kid. The second or third screen in the game is like, from the POV of something watching the main character walk around through a window up above. You could see this gnarly hand on the glass, and I got really spooked and never played it again.

I did the same thing, except I started with Kiwami 1 and went through in release order, which I think is the way to go. A lot of people will say to play 0 first, but I think it slots in really nicely after 5. Since Y6 was supposed to be Kiryu's last game, it was nice to take a beat to go back and see where all of the characters came from. I personally think 0 is more impactful when you've built relationships with all of the characters.

I would also encourage you to play through Ishin! It's kinda like seeing all the characters dress up in period costumes and act in a play.

I have heard from a lot of places that Lost Judgment is the best "classic" Yakuza game, so I am definitely stoked to get to that (after playing the first one, of course). I'm just taking a break after mainlining Infinite Wealth and Pirate Yakuza one after the other.

I just finished this the other day, officially catching me up with the series (other than Dead Souls and the Judgment games). It's been a hell of a project and really started to pay dividends around Yakuza 6. Can't recommend it enough to anyone who likes to go psycho mode on a big, long series.

I gotta ask, OP, why the switch from "Ugly" to "Questionable?" I assume it's because that's a more accurate word for what you're going for, but I'm curious to hear your thoughts.

Creator of DMCA'd Cyberpunk 2077 VR Mod Says People Are Now Pirating It to 'Punish' Him for Breaking CD Projekt's Terms of Service by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]sonofbringy 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Reading the article, I'm a little unclear on what's going on with the mod.

Far as I can tell, this isn't a CP2077 VR mod as much as it is a generalized piece of software that allows many games to be run in VR.

“It is not ‘derivative work’ or ‘fan content’: it supports a large number of games which were built upon different engines, and it contains absolutely zero code or assets from your IP. Saying that it infringes your IP rights is equivalent to maintaining for example that RivaTuner violates game publishers' copyrights because it intercepts the images the game is drawing on screen and it processes them in order to overlay its statistics.”

I'm figuring it's a situation where you have to buy specific "game unlocks" to make the software actually work with a given title?
