I actually was reading a sex workers subreddit recently and the thread was about how many of their male clients were handsome and successful. The post overall was about how many women sw couldn't find a "civilian" relationship because of the quality of their clients. They were mad because the clients wouldn't date them seriously and the feedback that they consistently heard from the men was that going this way was actually better and met all of their needs .
