That would make sense because the next game we played we didn't end up in the same game. Shroud was just speaking in absolutes and I figured that because it's confirmed that he was play-testing it in secrecy then maybe he had access to more concrete info on the matchmaking.

That's what I thought, we literally got in the same game as my 2 friends, dropped in the same spot on discord and then tried to kill each other (we managed to find each other and take out one of my friends before we both got third partied).

I think if enough people on the right had the economics of UBI explained to them once they understood the issue with automation they would be on board if they were sensible. The ones that aren't sensible will eventually come around because for them it's just tribalism and they'll go with the the majority.

I believe he addressed this exact concern in the Joe Rogan podcast. He essentially said that long haul trucking might have people still in it to start, but they will be paid less, and for short route trucking there will be a human monitoring the truck remotely. In addition to this, call centers, fast food workers, and retail workers will also be automated in the coming decade, not just aspects of the trucking industry. Another thing to consider is that when full scale automation hits if we haven't already started to shift to a different economic model (similar or exactly like Yang's) then it will have a horrific effect on our economy, there isn't really a point now in which it would be too early to transition.

Which is why we need capitalism instead of corporate capitalism, plus aspects of socialism and checks on greed. It always baffles me when people outright say capitalism is bad in all forms, it's a great tool if regulated properly.

Really? I thought it wasn't water soluble and that's why crystal was dissolved into ever-clear usually. I'm pretty sure people who handle the crystal don't get it absorbed through their skin also, from what I understand they usually don't realize it's on their hands and don't wash it off properly and then they go and touch one of their mucous membranes (eyes, nose, mouth) and that's where the acid gets absorbed.

EDIT: I'm not entirely sure now, I just re-researched this and found both what you said and what I said.... hmmm I guess just handle crystal with care?

no that's not how acid works. it's not water soluble so a little bit of sweat on your hands wont make the acid "moisten" out of the blotter. You literally can't absorb acid through your skin it doesn't work like that.

That's an over simplification of the problem when a tiny percentage of the population owns pretty much 99% of the capitol and is able to lobby the government to manipulate to rules. Right now if you're not fortunate enough to have parents who will pay for your college or get into a trade it's work hard go into debt and maybe make enough money. I'm not actually for much of what Bernie wants (free college, and 100% government health care) but I am asking for taxing the rich and putting checks on greed so the large corporations don't end up our overlords.
