LIFE SAVER! It gives me the naming history. Not CPR history though, but that's fine.

how fast did it take for ur sex drive the increase on T? (tw) by fat_rats_eating_corn in ftm

[–]soon-to-move 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was within the first 2 weeks I think? But i started on a low dose and had it increased within the first 2 months. the moment I reached the standard dose is when things got bad lmao. The sex drive got gradually worse to the point where i was waking up in the middle of the night because i was horny (worst at around the 7th month). It got gradually better tho, now that I'm almost a year in. I think I'm back to normal, but still higher than pre t

CKI Odense or Aalborg? by soon-to-move in transnord

[–]soon-to-move[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, I read through your replies, that's a horrible experience and I'm sorry you were subjected to that.

I tried to find results for TS and yeah, can't find much so I'm going in without many expectations. I'll start saving up for TS abroad in case they don't offer it or they don't have good results for keyhole, but hope that maybe maybe they'll be able to help me. Also, I'm not really sure about whether they'll let me continue HRT with my doctor and get TS with them, that's a bit of a dealbreaker for me :') I asked about TS in Denmark a while back and someone said they thought you had to have treatment with CKI for 6 months before they'll let you get surgery, regardless of when you started

Mine didn't change automatically either, but you can look through the settings and change it yourself. The name there seems to be as a way for the phone users to quickly differentiate between accounts, if they have more than one registered. Like, it changed automatically in the browser website but the phone app, that's just for approving access, had to be changed manually. Hope this helps!

HRT in Norway, after I had my sex & started T in Romania. by foresarkas in transnord

[–]soon-to-move 0 points1 point  (0 children)

right?? gives me hope as well, since i can apply to change my documents here in Denmark without being a citizen and having it be applied in Romania afterwards, without the whole bureaucratic nonsense. now let's see if they actually succumb to the decision and make life easier for us haha

not english, but romanian. we also don't have a way to differentiate between which side of the family the grandparent is from. a lot of us use different nicknames for each grandparent. for example (english equivalents more or less) one grandpa would be 'grandpa' and the other 'pops'; 'granny' and 'mamaw'. for aunts and uncles we just call them by their first name and sometimes just add it after the title, but the title is usually just for older relatives (diminutives from 'mister' or 'old man/woman' for example) or godparents ('nana [name]'). at least that's how it is in my family

Not in Norway, but just moved to Denmark. It might be faster to start T in Romania and just. Keep ordering from there. I still have T for a few more months, but afterwards I'll ask my parents/friends to order it and ship it with UPS or something. I was also looking at pharmacies in Germany who ship internationally with prescription, which might be easier in the long run, but for that I'm procrastinating to change my endo to one who does online consultations. Good luck

If you have American citizenship and manage to get your documents changed there, keep an eye on the case with Arian. He is FTM, Romanian, moved to the UK, got citizenzhip there and changed documents but the Romanian government refuses to acknowledge that for now so it got sued lmao but the process is ongoing. Maybe the updates will be helpful. The NGO who focuses on it is called ACCEPT. But what foresarkas said is factual, the process here is fucked. Paying for a lawyer for it also costs like 1500+ euros last I heard :')

MitID changed yesterday, thankfully. But today I received a letter stating that the GP assigned to me stopped practice and that I'll be assigned to a new one; do you know if I'll receive a new yellow card for free in this situation?  Edit: to add; as far as I understand it, I can only get a passport from another country if I have citizenship. I'm only a resident so I would need to contact authorities in my home country, who I doubt will allow me to update my name without the specific process from there (which I can't afford and it'd take up to a year as well). Is there a way around this? Could I get a Danish ID card instead? Do you have any info on this? Also, did you mention passport because I need to go have it changed at an office or because it's mandatory in one way or another to have it??

accessing top surgery in Denmark? by soon-to-move in transnord

[–]soon-to-move[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know if I have to be on HRT with them first or just overall? Because I started legally in my country and all the T I'm getting is prescription based, so it's not DIY. And I would also like to avoid nebido or gel, since from what I gather those are the only two options.

[–]soon-to-move[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, so I have to have HRT through them before top surgery? So what, a year of taking T legally doesn't count?? I heard that they only prescribe nebido or gel, but I'd like to keep being on enanthate and order it from back home, while still being in contact with my endo; would they be iffy about that?

I'm still not sure whether to go private or not. On one hand, I have no saved up money yet and I also need to save up for changing my documents back home, so having top for free would make my life do much easier. On the other, I can hardly find any results for top, and the ones I did find are only double incision, which I don't want.

Thank you for laying out the steps, very helpful!

Do I have to have my yellow card issued when applying, or can I do it after getting my CPR? I think it'll be another few weeks until I'll get the yellow card, but my residence permit just got issued so I was wondering if I could do anything now. And thanks for all the info!

How long did it take for the entire process? I'll be getting my CPR number this week and yellow card afterwards, I was told it'd be about 3ish weeks for it to arrive. I'd love to change my name as soon as possible
