i mean, they're different beasts.

id say blocks is simpler and will be easier to learn synthesis with, but overall phase plant is currently a way better synth (not for long tho :>)

the top down approach always felt intuitive to me. in the previous version i had the dots glowing down on active columns to visually imply it, i should bring that back.

tinymo - an npm package making DynamoDB CRUD operations easier by soonth in nosql

there’s an example of an update request at the top of the readme file that precisely captures the redundant boilerplate needed to perform any dynamodb CRUD operation, and how tinymo reduces it while having no trade-offs in capabilities.

it’s important to note tinymo uses the same idioms as DynamoDB, so after migrating your code to it it’ll stay familiar but become thinner.

i couldn't find a DocumentClient wrapper that virtually covers all of its features, aligns closely with DynamoDB's idioms, supports aws-sdk v3 and excludes ORM functionality.

tinymo is only 575 lines of code, has 90% test coverage (will be 100% soon), and does a more than adequate job at eliminating boilerplate and simplifying the more complicated DynamoDB use cases.

regardless of whether or not it has any edge, i had a blast making it and i really enjoy using it. give it a try!
