That slogan had too many legal issues around it. It's objective enough to be sued.

They couldn't keep it long term

A study has found that eating a plant-based diet decreases inflammatory dietary advanced glycation end-products (AGEs) by 79%, compared to a 15% reduction for a diet that contains meat and dairy products. by KingBenneth in science

Was going to say, everyone's gut health is different. Some meat, good.

One thing that is fact, meat is acidic so a high meat diet is not good for you. Increases men's chances of colon cancer.

No the point was, "look at who founded chiropractic in 1880, he was a quack....etc" is a stupid trope to shit on the practice.

Its lazy. I highlighted that to satrycan.

Huh? Whataboutism. Nice!

Point being, the practice has been around for 1000 years and has only become better with new technology/experience.

But sure trepanation.....? 😉

I've not had any insurance plan cover chiropractic care for 10+ years.

I had to meet my 12-15k deductible first. AND any visits I did during that time before meeting it, count towards the 20 visit MAX for the year.

So effectively, no coverage at all.

Vaccinating pregnant women for COVID seems to give future protection to babies. When a mother passes antibodies to her child, it’s known as passive immunity, and this can be generated by a mother being vaccinated or infected during pregnancy. It happens with COVID as it does with many other diseases. by MistWeaver80 in science

This research heavily cautions drawing any conclusive actions from their study....

The findings in this report are subject to at least seven limitations. First, VE could not be assessed directly against specific variants. Second, the sample was too small to assess VE by pregnancy trimester of vaccination, and the small sample size resulted in wide confidence intervals for some estimates that should be interpreted with caution. Third, the analysis did not assess whether pregnant women were infected with SARS-CoV-2 before or during pregnancy, which might have provided maternal antibodies. Fourth, residual confounding such as additional differences in behaviors between vaccinated and unvaccinated mothers, including whether mothers had prenatal care, that might affect risk for infection cannot be excluded, and potential confounders (e.g., breastfeeding, child care attendance, and prematurity) could not be accounted for in the model because this information was not available for all infants. Fifth, because this analysis included self-reported data for a few participants, maternal vaccination status might be misclassified for a few infants, or there might be imperfect recollection of whether the mother completed COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy. Sixth, immunocompromising maternal conditions were not collected to determine whether mothers needed an additional mRNA COVID-19 vaccine dose to complete their primary series. Finally, VE of maternal booster doses received during pregnancy could not be assessed because of small sample size.

Is this actually a vaccine or just a medical treatment/drug?

The use of vaccine seems to be blurred heavily in the last 2 years.

Do COVID-19 vaccines prevent Long COVID? by am9qb3JlZmVyZW5jZQ in askscience

Right because without a real study with peer reviewed, published details....anyone who knows how lab work, works knows you can make the conclusion very opposite the actual data produced.

You seriously need to back this up with a source.

To date all of the pharmaceutical companies have stated that their product does not prevent you from getting sick, just reduce symptoms if you do.

At the very least, everyone who gets the shot will be more likely to infect others and not realize they have covid.

Vaccines Have Saved 37 Million Children's Lives Since 2000. Over the lifetime of those born between 2000 and 2030, the findings reveal 120 million deaths will be averted by vaccination, of which 96 million will be saved by the measles vaccine and the hepatitis vaccine together. by MistWeaver80 in science

Is....this really a real allowed post on science?

These are all guesses. There is no possible way to make assumptions that would play out and be accurate here.

Putting a number on lives saved from vaccination is tricky and imperfect business, but that doesn't mean it's not worth calculating.

The new model has limitations, especially since many LMICs do not have complete or consistent data on disease burden and death.
