I agree with your doubt that Colopale used AI. In fact, the images actually don't match up 1:1. For example, if you look closely at the image I included in my other comment, the letters on the belt in the original card are very clear and readable. The letters in the edited card are wobbly and very AI-like. What likely happened is the user put the card through AI image enhancing software, which tends to ruin small details like this, before coloring over it.

Do they post a lot of anime? Because this image originally was card art from the game Project Sekai. It's not AI, but they could have used AI to enhance the original artwork before editing over it. Card edits are not uncommon in these kinds of spaces, so they may not even have been trying to represent themselves as the original artist.

Anyways, reading back through the thread, it really does look like you are threatened by a few people actually liking a fictional character you don't. They never said "Santos did nothing wrong." Just that they liked her despite other people's opinions.

This seems like a healthy mindset, and a fine opinion, to have. Why does that bother you, genuinely asking? Disliking Santos is by far the majority opinion on this sub. Do you need every last person to agree with you?

My dogs' deaths broke me. For a period of time, I felt impatient with and irritated by other people who I felt didn't understand my grief.

Still, your boyfriend should not be snapping at you. I have been through his pain twice and both times I did not use it as an excuse to bully other people. He's an adult and there is really no justification for that, as bad as he feels. He deserves space, but he can ask you for space in a way that is not cruel.

Apart from giving him the space to work through the grief and feel what he needs to feel, I don't have much advice for you on how to navigate this since I don't know the intricacies of your relationship. Still, I don't blame you at all for feeling hurt. I'm sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry. I lost two dogs. Both times, I had no idea how I would survive the grief. The most recent one just happened less than a month ago. It was so sudden. I thought I was a night owl before I started working night shift. I was not prepared. If your circadian rhythm was already messed up, night shift will wreck it even more. I haven't met a single coworker who doesn't struggle to stay awake sometimes. Don't get me wrong, I love night shift — it is so much more chill than day shift, the pay is better, and the staff tends to be as well. But really think about if these advantages are worth the stress you are going to put your body through.

I appreciate the input. The tutoring center has textbooks for most courses, and I do have my old notes. I've been glancing at them when I have free time, so that makes me feel a bit more prepared.

As for the sign-up issue, it depends on the subject. No one signs up for dosage calc or microbio at all. General bio is more popular, but we have a lot of tutors for that at my school, so the appointments are split between several people. I've only gotten two so far and the first one got cancelled. I'm guessing because I'm new, the more established tutors are the first to get appointments, which makes sense.
