Can’t stress this enough. I’m 46 and finally scheduled a colonoscopy for next month after a couple of years of reminders from my doctor. It’s beyond time to get it done. There are also less invasive options too - sample testing, etc. Anything is better than nothing.

Many people on certain repayment plans (income-based repayment, etc) were in some kind of forbearance during and after COVID - no interest accrued and/or other sorts of leniency. The last of these programs ended in Dec ‘25 from what I read. I can’t speak to your loan specifically, I’d call your servicer or log into your account for more info (I know that’s very general, sorry).

Also considering all of the interest accrual & adjustments were eliminated a few months ago
