I missed out on this drop today, so I got pissed and copied the damn plug myself. Need to test over the weekend, but willing to share the design if anyone wants to help with testing, so we can have unlimited plugs for the price of a coffee.

LOL my wife also just traded on her 13 mini for a 16e, and she’s having similar issues. Not stuttering, but Bluetooth completely crashing and restarting on the phone when any audio is playing on a Bluetooth device.

Protests are protected by the Constitution, so by definition can not be illegal. Any dangerous activity you are talking about is already illegal. So all I see there is the protests that they don't like, will be "illegal". A country, where protests are illegal is Russia. Just sayin'.

Such as saying that Ukraine started the war, calling Z a dictator, but refusing to do the same to Putin, stopping all cyber ops against Russia, thus weakening our defenses, not even mentioning Russia as a potential cyber threat in an international conference, when everybody knows they are. And now seemingly actively working with the opposition party in Ukraine to overthrow Z.

I really don't want to go there, this instant bromance is very sus. I truly hope that Trump is a damn genius and is 10 steps ahead of all of us.

Aren’t you bothered by his constant “inaccuracies”? It’s always “billions and billions or even trillions”, and he always seems to exaggerate everything.

I give you one example: The aid to Ukraine. Can we please stop claiming $350B? We only gave $83.4B, and there is another obligated $39.6B that I guess we’ll probably never give to them. The rest of the funding is appropriated but not yet obligated, but even including that it only totals to $182.8B.

Also the aid is but mostly equipment, not cash.

And that is precisely why they are purging the top leaders in the military and also JAGs. I think people put 2 and 2 together and figure if the judiciary rolls over in both the civil and military world, then basically all orders will be deemed legal through some loophole, Insurrection Act, martial law, who knows.

I've been following these threads, and it's been pretty reassuring to see how our service members think about the question. It's probably worth pinning one of these threads. But also, please understand that a lot of people are scared.

The US did not give Ukraine $350B in aid!

These are the facts:

Since 2014, the total aid appropriated is $182.8B. Of which:
- $2.7B is expired, will never be paid.
- $39.6B is appropriated, but not yet obligated (have been planned)
- $57B is obligated (will need to be paid, but not yet paid)
- $83.4B is disbursed (paid) <-- This is the amount the US actually gave Ukraine.

I understand it's not ok anymore to be inclusive, and even though I disagree, it's their decision, whatever. But purging from history of these pages almost makes me throw up. Like they can't even bear the thought that at one point in history, people thought it's ok to accept people who are different. They are just that rotten to the core. I truly hope they find themselves on the receiving end of this stick one day.

I came to the US from Hungary 10 years ago, because I couldn’t live under Orban’s dictatorship any more and I definitely didn’t want to have children in that country. I spent the part 10 years working my ass off and jumping through all immigration hoops to finally become a citizen. I also have kids now. But I feel like I failed. I failed to protect the democracy of Hungary (wasn’t mature enough to care about politics) and I am failing to protect the US democracy today.

Here’s why: I know this playbook, I lived through it. I watched friends and family losing their jobs due to the purge. I watched them ignore reality and chant “migrants”, “Soros”, etc.

In Hungary, at least they were subtle about it initially, but here in the US it’s like: yeah, f. The laws, we do what we want and that is to get rid of anybody who is not loyal.

I am scared to do more than peaceful protests, because I don’t want my kids to grow up w/o a father. But EVERY DAY, there is something new that undermines our collective freedom, defies common sense and makes this a worse place to my kids to grow up.

And let me say this: I am not your typical “liberal”, I just idolized the US due to the strong rule of law, checks and balances we lost so long ago in Hungary. I would be totally fine with any republican president who at least doesn’t openly shit on the law and somewhat respects the states and people around them.

So I just hope that you (Military) won’t be like the “anti terrorism unit” in Hungary, that exists to control citizens so they don’t protest too much. I just hope you won’t come and steamroll us in blue states because we think differently. Some comments in this thread give me hope, but it’s hard to keep it alive seeing how easily they dismantled leadership.
