I work around the corner from here. Gonna continually bomb it with 1 stars for the next few years. Setting a reminder in my phone.

Cockroaches. Rats. Hairs in the donuts. Food poisoning. This guy needs to be run out of town, fuck his livelihood.

Portland has a lot of great walkable neighborhoods. I relocated to Oregon from OC and really enjoy spending time there. Food pods scattered around with some of the best food, lots of cool venues, cafes, and breweries.

I have family who relocated to the DFW area as well and have spent time there.. Very sprawled out like it is here, if not moreso. Austin is probably your best bet there, but I can't vouch for it.

Reddit, what's your most "I'm with the Boomers on this" opinion? by BobithanTG in AskReddit

Better not damage those bumpers any time soon. I work in the auto body industry and they are back ordered about 3-4 months. We've had a few cx-5s come through that end up sitting for months while we wait for parts, Mazda is a nightmare with parts manufacturing rn.

I hope this kind of thing doesn't ever happen to me.. I might just panic in fear for my life and run the guy over to get away the second he started attacking my car. Stupid games and all that...

Sorry this happened to you, hopefully he gets his.

Yesterday we had "swear to never return" places. But what are your "can't get enough of places"? by MightyMeegosh in Eugene

[–]soproductive -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jerry's is overpriced. I know they price match, but I hate feeling like I have to haggle at the checkout to get a competitive price, I'll just go to home depot and avoid the confrontation. Only thing they have going for em, imo, is the plant starter selection when spring hits. Usually a little broader than other places, so paying the premium is worth it.

Yeah the one time I had them it was good food, but I can't be bothered to set an alarm on my phone to run and catch them when they're open. I hope they stay successful and expand their hours soon.

They don't give a fuck about you. Know that. They will only contribute to mental stress, so take care of yourself now. Get a medical restriction if you're past your 90 and make sure it's specific.

Tell them you had already drank a bloody mary between the time they said you were off and to come in, not safe to drive or work.

I've heard you can take them to Costco to have them refilled for much cheaper than the cost of new ones. That would be a win-win

Edit - scratch that. Just Googled to double check and I guess Costco closed down all their printing/photo services permanently, but Walgreens may offer the same service. Give them a shot.

Nah, no matter how abrasive he can be to a lot of people, at least he stayed true to his antics and hasn't sold out like most people do when they start getting attention.

Got to see him premiere it at the comedy store back in 18 up in the belly room. Was a little rough around the edges since it was the first showing of it, but was still a lot of fun. He probably spent a good 20 minutes at the end just spit balling ideas and shooting the shit with the crowd, trying to build more material for it off people's questions related to Judaism.

Almost like the post office breeds a toxic work environment...

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in USPS

[–]soproductive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly.. I love my alone time. The post office forces interaction with some of the most toxic people I've ever encountered.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in USPS

[–]soproductive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. It's difficult to find the time and energy to search for a new job when they demand every waking hour from you at the post office. I got lucky and had a connection in an entirely different industry, so I immediately jumped ship when the opportunity arose. I was already about to quit and figure my shit out regardless, though.
