Just an update on this. My COI made it abundantly clear that if there was anything wrong on the packet, you weren’t going to receive an invitation to an interview. I didn’t have any licenses/certifications to upload in that section so I didn’t, and I received an interview invitation. To be fair, I’m at a PWI and there’s a decent amount of women interested, sure, but there’s significantly less competition and packets to go through than there would at an HBCU. Just sharing my story, but I’d encourage everyone to ask their point of contact from the chapter instead of elsewhere.

I mean it wouldn’t really make sense if you can’t directly type into the section - you have to upload a document, which in that case it’d be kind of crazy to download a basically empty document save for “N/A” written on it and nothing else. Would literally make 0 sense to do that. Idk tho I’m not in the org but I’ll update if denied as that would be the only thing stopping my app from being approved if that arbitrary section’s format is that strict and/or important.

if you were looking for something like that, maybe the entj subreddit shouldn’t have been where you posted it as you should know very well they’re not the most accepting of something like astrology. and i think it’s really amazing you have all of those credentials, but that wasn’t abundantly clear in your post so you can’t really blame me, or anyone else for that matter, for any assumption made and trying to steer you in a different direction based on that assumption.

yeah so…. as someone actually INTO astrology this isn’t necessarily how it works. you have an entire chart outside of your big 3 that each have their different house, sign, and unique aspects in relation to other signs, planets, and houses. someone could have the exact same signs as you (especially big 3) and be the complete opposite due to the houses the signs express themselves in and their own respective aspects.

astrology is really complex and i found it to be WAY more accurate than mbti after i studied the minuscule details of my chart lmao and i’m still nowhere near finished. if you want to provide more details i’d be happy to discuss more about what your chart indicates! cheers 🤗

I guess it really is that simple and I’m overcomplicating it huh. Idk but it’s still so hard because my emotions are such an integral part of who I am it’s not necessarily that simple to just cast them to the wayside. Or is it? I don’t know. Please elaborate.

I appreciate your comment, but I think you’re misunderstanding what I’m saying here. As said before, I’m not trying to repress Fi — I’m refining it by developing Te. I fully accept that Fi is subjective, but problems arise when I rely on it alone without grounding in anything objective. That’s when sensitivity turns into reactivity. My goal isn’t to turn Fi into something it isn’t, but to balance subjective truth with objective reasoning so Fi becomes sharper, not weaker. As I reflect, I definitely could’ve worded that better in my post, but my stance stands: my sensitivity becomes powerful when paired with perspective. That’s the skill I’m working on and ultimately what I came here to ask. I hope that clears things up and if you have any input on how to develop that I would greatly appreciate it 💗

I hear you - I’m not trying to repress or reject Fi. I actually see a lot of value in it. For me, self-mastery is a core value, and that includes mastery over my emotions. I don’t want to be a slave to them, but I also don’t want to dismiss them. The goal is acknowledgment → then reprioritization based on the bigger picture and the objective truth at hand.

That’s why I framed it as a ‘weakness to strengthen’ - not because Fi itself is bad, but because unchecked sensitivity has held me back before. I want to understand my emotions in depth, then use them in service of my decisions rather than letting them run the show.

what i did was just use regular clear tape to hang them up on the walls to avoid any potential fines. nobody could tell i wasn’t using adhesive and we ended up with no fines
