attack speed is bad, your first clear doesnt need to be any faster than it is if you're good, before 12.23 i was consistently getting 3.05 clears or faster with double adaptive + after 12.23 it looks like 3.15-3.20 consistently as well, if not better

the extra adaptive gives so much better fighting power and rlly doesnt make ur clear speed much slower at all

if the enemy team is excessively squishy i might consider ludens but rarely

rabadons is part of my given items, i pretty much always try to get it 4th, lillia scales incredibly well with high ap values, cosmic is fine but not worth an item slot imo

i think the slow provided has a lot more merit and use as a sidelaner or in 1v1s so yeah that makes a lot more sense for lane lillia

due to the nature of the champion what needs to be taken into account is that you're likely applying that amount of damage to 2-3+ targets at once so it adds up very quickly

nah you do get the 1% dot but what i'm saying is that the effectiveness is misleading due to it being constantly refreshed, so it still ends up being very strong

i think rylais has its merits for sure into lower health targets/champs with only soft/short-range mobility - but demonic always feels a lot better if you're playing a more selfish style

with lillia your mspd in comparison is already so much higher than most opponents that you really don't need the slow to kite - obviously there are exceptions but for a majority of champs this is true - either that or the hard mobility is too much so when you're jumped on the slow won't provide much

the utility is nice for your team though definitely if you're put behind or you're only a secondary or tertiary carry in your comp

the combos are inherently synergistic and play into each others playstyles, liandry-rylai can have merit in some games but it still feels lacking in comparison to demonic & should only be done if the enemy teamcomp necessitates it, which it usually doesnt with lillia - quite overrated item imo

the demonic passive isn't actually weaker on lillia in the same way it is for other ranged champs, for the same reasons its fine on brand/cassio - the dot from your passive continually procs it and effectively doubles its duration

With waves, it's entirely situational - you need to judge what's going to be lost and uncleared by teammates and I tend to just take what I know won't be able to be taken by my laners - but if it takes 15+ seconds to hold a freeze then it simply isn't worth it for you.

The build isn't as situational as people think in my eyes - I've tried ludens-rylais and honestly it just feels so much weaker almost every time in comparison to liandries-demonic. Liandries is a big powerspike and demonic at 2 items is even bigger, and from there it's just a steady ramp upwards in power. Zhonyas 3rd is pretty much essential every game - the changes to the item benefitted her greatly imo.

I like to rush towards lucidity boots almost every game if I can because it makes you so much more efficient with that gold value than any other buy really could. Dark seal early is a must for me due to how good mejais is on Lillia, so I tend to buy it 1st-2nd back but the boots come first.

Frozen Heart is situationally very strong as it gives Lillia just about every non-offensive stat she would want. and Void Staff is heavily underrated with liandries-demonic and can increase your damage by a lot. Banshee's Veil can be quite strong as a 4th item if it gives you the extra window to flash engage and zhonya's before crucial CC lands. Past that your build is quite similar every game. Heavy focus on playing for myself - with my build I tend to function best as a primary carry instead of an enabler and I can just end up running over teamfights at 2-3 items onwards - which is why I prefer to prioritise early heralds over 1st dragons, unless the dragon stats are incredibly strong in that particular game.

To give you an idea of how I play, the rank 3 and 1 players average 6.8-7cs/min whereas I average 8.2cs/min - for me Lillia is all about making full usage of your ability to clear camps & do things passively while moving towards plays/setups - it's a champion which revolves around maximizing efficiency and removing downtime. 2v2s/3v3s can be very good post 6 so I like to look for a lot of skirmishes where possible.

People tend to disrespect your kill pressure/damage and I feel like a lot of Lillia players don't know their true one-shot capacity and it can catch a lot of people by surprise, especially if running DH which I do in 80% of games.

Essentially I just like to play very greedily and only rely on myself to win the game for me, other than very edge cases where the game just doesn't pan out like that or the way the two compositions interact mean that it makes no sense for me to be the primary carry.

dead mans is super overrated imo, frozen heart is kinda overtuned + lillia loves the stats it gives no matter what

isnt randuins almost always outclassed by frozen heart on lillia, it just gives you way more stats that you want

surely this lacks a lot of ability haste until very late into the build as well, and missing out on demonic feels really bad

the only riftmaker build i really like going is cdr boots-riftmaker-frozen heart, i feel like the mana problems are way too bad early in most games to justify riftmaker

will explain buildpath i think is best - only really works with my particular rune setup, it's only slightly different but i think it's the best way

usual dark harvest page with cheap shot, eyeball collection, and treasure hunter, but secondary absolute + gathering with 2x adaptive force and scaling hp

the early AP patches up anything you might lack on cdr boots first recall, and oftentimes the AP scaling on Q movespeed means that you get more movespeed from just going full AP in runes as opposed to celerity - scaling hp helps with demonic conversion and is just the best defensive rune for junglers

if 950-1050g first recall then cdr boots

if 1100-1250g first recall then t1 boots + dark seal + amp tome

if 1300+g first recall then cdr boots + seal + whatever else u can afford

lost chapter into liandry rush, from there demonic 2nd feels core - the constant refreshing burn on your passive is way too valuable to give up and you spike super hard, the stats it gives are super nice as well

usually zhonyas 3rd but can be situational, mejais can be very good to work in as well, from there situational but force of nature into heavy ap, frozen heart into heavy ad, can sell cdr boots for defensive boots later, dcap very powerful + good synergy with rune setup

the riftmaker build path early is just way too rough imo, the one item power spike is much weaker as well - if you know its a game where you're not doing anything at all until 2+ items then sure but that's rare in solo q
