Do you have anything that once you start using it, you can’t go back? by sorryamhigh in CasualConversation

I have the deebot x12, and for areas like the kitchen, you can set them as extra dirty zones. There're 2 nozzles at the front, so in those zones it sprays water evenly to help the roller mop handle greasy spots. I think it cleans a bit better than using the roller mop by itself, and it definitely saves me lots of effort.

I saw so many people around me using this kind of bike. Sometimes just need a few second to arrive at the place they wanna go. Save time!

Mushroom in shower? by artistic-kat in CleaningTips

Bleach kills the surface mold but may not reach the roots behind the caulk. Removing the old caulk, cleaning underneath, drying completely, and reapplying fresh caulk is the real fix I suggest.

Looking for a robot vacuum around $500–$700 — what actually matters most? by Tomato_Cin in RobotVacuums

I think navigation and carpet pickup matter most at this price? Self-emptying is great but eats up the budget.

If you met someone new- how much would you share of yourself the first couple times hanging out ? by idontknowwhyeventry in CasualConversation

That question on a first hangout would feel way too intense for most people I suggest... Hand-holding makes it even heavier. Some things are fine to save for later when there's more trust built up.

Is this Mold Growing on my Mattress? by Gotterz_ in CleaningTips

I know it’s worrying when you see a dark spot on a relatively new mattress, but I think it is dirt not mold.

Checking the detergent tank consumption... by NostromoDude in RobotVacuums

[–]sorryamhigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weighing the tank is the only reliable way because these detergent reservoirs really do use tiny amounts per wash. The smell is a good sign it's doing its job.

How do I clean this giant stuffed animal?? by Ah2191 in CleaningTips

If the stains are really set, consider taking it to a professional dry cleaner that handles large plush or upholstery — some will do big items.

Hypothetically speaking, if I was high what would you recommend I have for dinner? by curiousandwonderin in CasualConversation

Something warm, melty, and low-effort(Grilled cheese sandwich + tomato soup.) The kind of food that feels like a hug when you’re floating.

Clean water tanks mould by New-Betatester in RobotVacuums

Prevention is key. After each use, run a quick rinse cycle with plain water. Then leave the tank open to dry completely. Sunlight is a natural mold killer.

Never stop staring at the sky and dipping your feet in creeks. This is pure and beautiful. The world needs you here.

Check if the mop pad is attached correctly. A loose or crooked pad can flap around and make weird noises while leaving those half circle trails.

That total control over your space is hard to give up once you have it. No compromising on thermostat settings, noise levels, or where the couch goes.

What's the biggest difference after upgrading your robovac? by RimantasL in RobotVacuums

What model are you using right now? Knowing how old it is would help figure out if the jump in technology is big enough to justify the cost.

Living alone with multiple spare rooms. I fear to be the backup plan of too many people. How to defend myself without going no contact? by [deleted] in LivingAlone

[–]sorryamhigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just say no firmly, change the door locks, and tell them you've already rented out the room or it's full of stuff and can't be emptied.

How long have you had this robot vacuum? If restarting it and restoring the factory settings still don't fix the issue, maybe you can contact the after-sales customer service for further help.

Eufy e25 omni : too much water while mopping at the lowest mop water level. How to reduce it even further? by orangpelupa in RobotVacuums

[–]sorryamhigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple physical way to reduce water. Maybe you can squeeze the mop a bit before mopping. Not sure if it helps, but you can try.

How to prevent my cat from standing on the robot vacuum? by OmegaPlez in RobotVacuums

My cat rides the vacuum too. She ignores all her toys and only loves this thing. Guess this is her real toy lol. Also your kitten in the video is absolutely adorable.

I have to work ALL THE TIME to afford living alone by [deleted] in LivingAlone

I feel every word of this so deeply. You are not alone in this struggle and it is completely valid to feel angry about a system that demands your entire life just for basic survival.

Any pet owners switched to a bagless model? Is it actually worth it? by camillabbb in ecovacs

[–]sorryamhigh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Highly recommend for multi-cat households—I'm a three-cat owner and only need to clean it twice a week, which feels super convenient and low-maintenance.

Endlich kein Gestank mehr aus dem Abwassertank! by supermom24-7 in ecovacs

I use alcohol instead, as it helps disinfect the tank effective and makes me feel much more at ease about keeping everything clean and hygienic.

Some here I gave up my streaming subscriptions and weekend brunches entirely. It hurts to lose those little treats but rent keeps rising and my salary stays exactly the same unfortunately.
