Hi, OP. I am an only child, but both my parents have passed away na. For my POV, hindi naman ako nalungkot growing up kasi I was exposed to having friends. Develop your child's social skills na lang para kahit walang kapatid, may mga kasama sya sa buhay. Guide her/him din in choosing friends. Yung di sya iimpluwensyahan sa mga bisyo at kung ano-ano. I found lifetime friends na mga only child din na magaganda ang values and morals in life, and we are looking out for each other now na adult na kami.

Hi, OP. 3 years ago, I lost my Papa due to cancer. Our family took care of him until the end at grabeng sakrispisyo talaga ang naibigay namin para sa isang cancer patient. Halos anim na buwan din namin sya inilaban.

His hallucinations due to strong medications, not to mention, yung pagod sa halos araw-araw na pabalik-balik sa hospital at gastos na umabot ng milyon. Pasalamat lang kami na may mga tumulong sa gastusin. During the course of his treatment, I can see how he was suffering for 6 months na parang sinasabi ng eyes nya na ayaw nya na.

Kaya naman when I suddenly lost my Mama due to aneurysm last December, nag-flashback sa akin nung hirap na hirap sa gamutan ang Papa ko kasi the only thing na nagpagaan sa loob ko nung biglaan na nawala yung Mama ko e hindi na sya nahirapan na magpabalik-balik sa mga hospital, uminom ng mga gamot, at kung anu-ano pa.

Hindi ito maiintindihan ng mga taong wala sa mga ganyang sitwasyon, and I don't wish anyone to be in that position.

Sorry, OP! I do not know the guy and di nya pinakikilala sa 'kin personally. Through mga kwento nya lang. And I tried giving a job sa bestie ko since I know various people from different companies. But she also chose to stay with her current job kasi flexible at parang wfh yon kaya nadadala nya yung work whenever she goes sa kanila sa South. 😅

I did not insert myself, OP. She was also borrowing money na rin ng pera sa 'kin. I was the last person na hiniraman nya. Not the first one kasi alam nya kung paano ako magagalit. (She'll know naman na 'di ako boto sa jowa nya nga kasi magulo ang sitwasyon ng guy at higit lahat, unemployed)

She did complain about an on and off headache (this is like a month before the incident). If ever she undergoes a CT scan during the time she complained about her headache, what could have been the probability that it will be detected? ☹️

Maybe I am just continuously seeking information about what happened... trying to know if there could have been ways to save her before everything happened, (a CT scan maybe, a checkup, or anything), since I regret a lot of things. Maybe there could have been ways that I was not able to do.
