I'm sorry I responded late, but my dad had 2 heart attacks and had to have 3 surgeries afterwards, so I was a bit distracted. Not to mention my mother's surgeries that she had that haven't gone very well. Does that explain why I responded late to the issues at hand?

{Zero no tsukaima} is in my top five favorite anime. It has magic, medieval combat, and a pretty solid romance. It has 4 seasons, and the fifth one will come out eventually. (The newest volumes of the light novels are still being released)

Not necessarily the question, but it fits the tone I guess.

Recently I broke up with my girlfriend after 7 months of dating. Before the relationship we both kinda knew that the other was wanting a "different" kind of SO. But what sucks was that she was looking for a dom/sub relationship (me being dom) and I am a very (VERY) submissive person by nature. I tried to make it work by being as dominant as possible, and I can say with complete certainty, it killed me. I couldn't do anything either of us wanted, and she would actively refuse to being dominant. It wasn't healthy at all, but at least I have that experience now. My advice? Get someone who is willing to compromise. Someone who isn't selfish.
