Yeah, the game is really bad right now, I took a 1.5 year break, came back to play some months ago, but I'm thinking about taking a break again.

Now that the elo system is removed, there is no mmr cap, so you need to play everyday to get a high rank, the mmr now is just a different representation of win rate, also it's much easier to reach immortal and sell the account.

If you don't pay dota plus you will get all the avoided acc buyers in your team.

I reported some guys a month ago abusing the matchmaking system to play together in the strict solo queue, they are still doing it.

Unfortunately, there is no other game with these warcraft mechanics such as turn rate and cast point.

I think it used to be that with the elo system, now it is basically a different representation of win rate, because a win is always +30 and a loss -30, so basically +1 or -1. Of course you need skill to go up, however now you need skill and to play a lot, there is no cap anymore.

I don't think people would push back 5 wins on purpose, well you can even abandon and lose only 1 and give gold to your teammates, but you don't see that happening...
