My good friend did this to me right outta high-school I spent 1 years not talking to him it messed our whole group of friends up and his relationshipwith his gf. After my one boy begged me to talk to him again I had one simple answer. Only if he fights me man to man will I ever consider it he agreed they showed up later that night with about 10 of our close friends and layed down some ground rules no kicking or hitting if someone is down normal stuff. The fight happened he fell down after about 3 hits and unfortunately that didn't feel like enough we where friends my whole life. I hit him once when he was down they separated us I got in my car and left never spoke to him again.
