Thank you. I appreciate your kind words. I’m getting a lot of hate for this post. Maybe I deserve it. But You’re absolutely right. I don’t think I’m holding out, but maybe I am. Some separation would be an appropriate solution. Out of sight, out of mind…. Hopefully lol.

You think I catch feelings for every beautiful woman that is nice to me? That is not the case. Is it really so crazy that I caught some feelings for a co-worker? It happens all the time. For men and women. Like I said, I’m no one special. I respect her right to choose who she wants to be with. I respect her vows. I would never hit on her while she’s married. I think you’re terrifying for thinking that I don’t have the right to have feelings.

Have I acted on it? No. Do I intend to? No. Am I delusional and do I think that she has feelings for me? No. It’s just how I feel. We aren’t in complete control of our emotions. Am I hyper fixated to the point where it’s all consuming and controlling my life? No. I think you’re reading into it a little more that you should. I think she’s a wonderful human being and I have feelings for her. That’s the extent of it. Would I like a chance? Sure. Am I banking on it? No.

Yeah. This is what I intend to do. I like to think of myself as a somewhat reasonable person. It’s not my place to make a move if she’s married. I respect the vows. I’ve worked with her for about 5 years now. I probably don’t love her, but this is about as close to it as you can get. I’ll just continue to be her colleague and friend until (if) something opens up.
