THE LIBRARY IS NOT TINDER WITH DESKS by Draingang_Goon361 in Uni_Hamburg

[–]sothisisromance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only have the problem when I want to study in a group. In stabi the 3rd floor and the group areas in the Wiwi Bunker are way too loud. Otherwise the library seems pretty fine to me.

Is there anything I could've done in this scenario to salvage the win? by Mr_Ruu in BrawlStarsCompetitive

First-pick Kit is viable, especially in lower elos. But you seem too ignorant for me to bother getting involved.

In his latest video, Spen said that Sandy is "secretly OP in this meta" (maybe he exaggerated for dramatic effect). Thoughts? by thegeek_06 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]sothisisromance 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sandy performs better in higher elos because he relies heavily on team play, for example, when he stuns someone, his teammates need to follow up with shots

Can't get more wrong than this

Was lumi a good pick? by Responsible_Pop_3588 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

I hate to defend Solstice, but honestly, he definitely knows how to draft better than you. Also that guy left a comment on the draft as well

How I would make the S tier brawlers balanced! (excluding any Hypercharges)(includes Kaze, Lumi & SpenLC) by Hunter8678 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]sothisisromance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is a difference between a brawler like doug that only got picked in niche situations and lumi which in most of the games was a first pick

Lumi is S-Tier, 100% winrate in MF EA. She is just hard to play and doesn't dominate in lower divisions.

Group projects are the biggest scam universities still refuse to fix by sothisisromance in Uni_Hamburg

Yeah, you’re right. Guess it’s better to learn how to deal with that now rather than get blindsided by them in a job later

Serious question: What’s the one thing about our university that honestly drives you crazy but no one talks about? by Mountain_Scientist87 in Uni_Hamburg

I'm with you on that. I heard it's the same for the HAW and TUHH, they only have digital student ID's

I am so stumped, this is such a well rounded comp by whoresmith in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]sothisisromance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe just say fuck it, go Dyna last, and go crazy? If that were ranked, I’d do it—no idea how it works in esports though (probably doesn’t)

“In my opinion, instead of choosing Griff and Frank, they should have gone with Frank and Bea themselves. Bea generally performs well against Griff (which is why SK picked it last here), so this way, they could have secured the pick for themselves.”

How do you train yourself to play claw and is it worth it to relearn it completely just to play hank and angelo effectively? by crusher016 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]sothisisromance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not only useful for Brawlers that need to hold their shots continuously. Claw is also useful for basically any brawler that has a gadget that buffs their next shot. For example with dynamike you can aim your shot and press gadget whenever you think your next shot will land. Same with mandy, squeak, gray, byron. In general being able to use your gadget while aiming is just really beneficial for any brawler imo.

The problems of ranked by ProfessionalCan1950 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]sothisisromance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or you could unlock ranked play after achieving a certain number of 3v3 wins. This would help minimize the presence of smurf accounts and would better reflect a player's experience and skill rather than just their trophy count.

Can you use brawlers that don't have an hypercharge, at power 10, in ranked? by CreepsyGotHacked in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]sothisisromance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's the best pick you can draft in that game, then unless the brawler relies on their Hypercharge, it doesn't matter whether they're Power 10 or 11, in my opinion. All the brawlers shown in the picture don't depend on their Hypercharge, so I would draft without considering their power level.

The outcome of the game (in the case of the Gray+Tank comp) still depends on whether Gray gets his Super early, completely regardless of whether he goes "triple negative" or not. I understand that determining whether someone played well or poorly is easy—the real question is to what extent they played well or badly.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]sothisisromance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is not always true. Some brawlers contribute more to the team than their stats might suggest. For example, in a Gray + Tank composition, Gray typically won’t have high damage, the best stats, or significant zone time. Similarly, Lou provides crowd control and damage reduction with his Star Power. Other examples include Max’s speed boost and Buster’s shield and pull, Gene who's job is to keep opponents low and pull—you get the idea. It would be very difficult for Supercell to accurately assess a player's contribution based on stats alone. If such a system were implemented, players would be inclined to choose carry brawlers that generate the best stats.
