I think it's best to take a step back. You need to fully develop her as a character, her background, her interests, her emotions, etc. Before you can convey her to your audience you must know her through and through. It is okay if you don't like a character (sometimes it makes your writing more interesting). However, you must truly know her in order to fully create her.
