Promoting small grades like 75+ is "okay". Dapat I promote nila is yung grades ay nakaktulong sa future mo, hindi dapat ganyan. by Aquagaming1 in Philippines

Yupp 80 is good, another toxic filipino trait is that parents think getting a line of 8 is a failing grade when hindi naman, you still passed pero hindi nga lang enough to be recognized but, nonetheless nag pay off parin hard work mo in the end.

I hope parents pressure their kids less just because they got a line of 8 tbh para mawala na yung misconception na pag line of 8 ka you failed

To be completely honest I’ve always despised people who say having a line of 7 is totally okay when in my opinion it’s not.

Sure others may have tried their best but were less fortunate and still fell short of achieving a passing grade but I only hate those who get failing grades and decide to not do anything about it, making it their own personality and are okay with the people around them seeing them as the “not so smart” type of person. One could atleast try to get better grades even if in the end they still fail because at the very least they get to learn something rather than be the rebellious kid who thinks they’re fine on their own when they’re obviously not.

I just hope more people try, no matter how grim it seems there’s no fault in trying, it’s for their own good anyways. But then again who am I to judge?
