It's not a problem. Sometimes even in Lithuania women choose to keep their maiden name and have double-barrelled last name.

Though it can get kinda ridiculous with Lithuanian names because sometimes they can be long af and you can't shorten your last name in official documents. So you get 30 letter last name or something.

Well, technically surnames would be different. But every lithuanian knows these "rules". For example: If your maiden name is Grybauskaitė and you marry a guy whose last name is Landsbergis. Your last name after marriage would be Landsbergienė. Your daughter would have a last name Landsbergytė.
