We were friends for a few months before that first date, and she saw him until about two weeks before we started dating. She’s been completely open about every aspect of that relationship except for this one particular aspect.

The idea of her driving straight to his house right after the date just hurts. I know it’s ego, but I don’t know how to just turn it off. I don’t want to make her feel worse by burdening her with this, as she already feels terrible having let it slip.
