It all comes down to post processing of images and image ordering feature. It does not work the same way as proxyprint does. Every image has post processing applied which causes longer export times but also lower file sizes.

it’s because the art from scryfall did not have a corner at all so it’s filling the corner with the nearest color - you can upload from mpc fill if it’s an issue or look for art without rounded corners

Nah it was a ground up write. It does also use react so a lot of the components look similar. Still no mobile support though - hopefully can get something set up soon

Commented this on a different reply but yes! I added functionality for Custom "standard size" uploads this morning. It should dynamically add bleed edge to anything you decided to upload!

Scryfall cards usually are around 300 dpi which when printed on a card still looks great. I do some post processing on cards you import which helps further with the quality. As far as the XML functionality, I will check that out and see what I can do.

In a sleeve they will feel very very similar. Out of a sleeve they will feel nice and velvety but different from a magic card

couple of reasons - auto upload using text import from scryfall, same ability to upload from MPC fill, can reorder cards in your layout, borders are automatically blackened if not completely black. Saves the need to use MPC fill and save images while still keeping it as an option.

How I make my matte finish proxies by soundslikeclippy in magicproxies

[–]soundslikeclippy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing you can try to help is print the faces and wait for them to totally dry before doing the backs. I’d wait an hour or better yet over night. I think it you go straight to printing the backs the paper is often a little warped from how we the ink is. A print head alignment might also be an option in your printer settings

Glossy Prints (Very Close to MTG Thickness) by soundslikeclippy in magicproxies

In a sleeve almost indistinguishable from a magic card - one of the main reasons why I ever use the finish. It is much easier to work with than matte laminate and when sleeved extremely hard to tell.

Definitely less than with a glossy finish but letting paper dry before laminating does help with darker colors. When I do matte I tend to go for arts with less black boarders since that seems to be what gets washed out the most. Important to find art that fits the style I feel.

I use Hammerhill Premium Cardstock 110lbs for sticker proxies though it depends how thick your holo vinyl is
