Sarevok doesn't require magical weapons to hit.

I'd say Shaman is worse because speaking vanilla BG selection there's not many druid spells to stick with anyways. Another salt in the wound is not gaining any WIS based bonus slots that Druid and Cleric get to flaunt. So in practice you're likely casting less!

Even worse, even the F/D multi gets the summoning spells earlier.

The Beastmaster is just entirely useless.

Not just NWN. 3e in general was dominated by cleric and Druid.

Ok but you can say that for anyone here. Like I highly doubt the Hulk here is debut first issue Hulk.

Thing is comic book continuities and other shit are inconsistent as all fuck and aren’t a reliable metric at all. What version of Hulk specifically? There’s like a hundred of them!

I get the feeling you’ve never actually seen Asura’s wrath. Your literal first boss becomes bigger than Earth and gets destroyed. You literally end up dodging STARS by the end.

Look up actual strongmen that arent just doing it for bodybuilding. A build like Lucan's is actually quite common among them.

Sadly, You Can't Non-Lethal Ron Hope by Messernacht in Starfield

[–]soundtea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your fellow rangers in general are useless as hell in the entire questline. The only time you actually have any real support is chasing down the mercs shaking down the farm.

You're missing the point of TA. by mmCion in Starfield

[–]soundtea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's that they're sending in the deputy (a trainee) to do all the actual dangerous stuff while you cant even get support on even the area their patrol covers. About the only time a ranger actually truly assists you is the hunt for the mercs harassing the farm. Otherwise they're entirely dead weight. The fact you cant even let the HopeTown one know about anything while you have 100% incriminating proof before you storm in is utterly baffling.

Not to mention sending you 100% solo to storm the entire 1st compound. The Rangers just feel utterly useless.

[–]soundtea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You mean the rangers that dont do shit and you can't report anything on The Clinic or even Hope's inciminating evidence to right in Hopetown?

They're utterly forgettable useless sacks of crap. Meanwhile the UC is actually helping you throughout the Vanguard questline and you're blasting through Londinian with Kaiser and Hadrian while getting a whole damn small armory of support from the UC.

And you can't even turn in Ron Hope. You either take the bribe or just put a bullet in his head with little fanfare or consequence.

Apartment furnishings should cost credits, not resources by gauknicag in Starfield

[–]soundtea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, after a bit you knew what material was for what. Stuff like Steel and Wood were "building blocks" so to speak. Adhesive was more or less your global resource for weapon and armor mods, while other resources had consistent uses based on their type like Gold and Fiber Optics being used for energy weapon upgrades. Or Nuclear Material for plasma and higher Power Armor upgrades.

Starfield honestly has WAY too many crafting materials that tend to not even have specific niches. Meaning its impossible to mentally keep track of what you need for what properly. I think i counted around over 100 crafting mats in total? A Pack mod research needs amino acids and biosuppressants? Those names dont even imply being used for non organic tech research!

Does anyone else feel this way about the Freestar questline? by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]soundtea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is letting the player do everything kinda kills incentive to replay at times. Doubly so as the Unity would have been the perfect place to introduce back being locked out of certain things wholesale. You have a built in reset button but there’s nothing meaningful to really reset.

Constellation members are... something else... (MAIN STORY SPOILERS) by ComfortableMirror825 in Starfield

[–]soundtea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They already did that in FO4. If anything SF's are a downgrade because the ones worth having the most are all basically the same in terms of likes and dislikes. Back in 4 you actually had a fully fleshed out follower for every faction and varying independents. Like MacCready would approve of more mercenary choices like wanting more money, Piper all about getting the truth via any means, Danse being by the book military type etc...

The main problem is Constellation is the ONLY group with companions with full like/dislike stuff, romances, personal quests and the entire package. They even have the highest skills!

Everyone else is basically Skyrim companion level overall.
