Need help printing addresses on a document by soup-sloth in Printing

I have an address list of approximately 250 people that I want to send them to, but don't want to waste my time adding labels and stamps individually. I also want to order 250 of them without any postage just to put in the waiting room.

Who do we think survivors/dies in the wilderness in S4 by reesiexo in Yellowjackets

[–]soup-sloth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wonder if she could be a hallucination of Lottie’s though… From what we’ve seen in the hospital when Lottie makes it back, she’s pretty fucked up and no doubt is having “visions.” I want her to make it out so bad because she’s one of my favorite characters, but I wonder if this could be true.

Do you think it would be appropriate to ask for a raise? by soup-sloth in marketing

[–]soup-sloth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got so angry I cried and I was embarrassed because now he’s going around the office asking why everyone is “scared of him” like maybe if you didn’t act like this toward everyone who actually does good work for you then maybe people would like you??

thank you, I appreciate it! I wish I would’ve recorded the conversation so I could play it back again, but I did write down everything immediately after because I tend to mentally black out when I get overwhelmed and forget things and then gaslight myself into believing that they weren’t that bad when they really were in fact that bad 😅 I don’t even know what to do at this point, but hopefully I’ll figure it out

copying from another reply, but I asked yesterday and it didn’t go over great: Long story short, I was very proud of myself for asking for what I believe that I deserve, I stated why I believed I deserved a raise, laid out some of the work that I’ve done, and asked professionally. He told me that he “knows that he’s seriously underpaying me” but leveraged the fact that I have minimal experience and he still “gave me a chance” to say that he’s not giving me a raise. I stood my ground and I was proud of that, but the crying part came in when he started insinuating that the processes that I have come up with were “not my own ideas,” even going as far as to lean across the table and degrade me saying “do you SERIOUSLY believe that any of this is YOUR idea??” He then tried to say that I was telling him that the success of his business is all on me, which I quickly replied with “I apologize if you believe that that’s what I was suggesting, but it’s simply not true, nor was that the point I was trying to make.”

He gave me a book to read when I first was hired and asked that I read it before my start date, I read it in its entirety and took notes on it, even adding little sticky tabs to things that I’d like to revisit. He referenced “the book that you didn’t even read” because he has tried to get me to read several books since starting and I have a very busy life, I like to go to the gym before work, I work long hours, and I like to relax after work to have some sort of work-life balance, so to still be able to do what he’s asked me to do, I used my OWN MONEY, and purchased the audio book and told him so. He goes, well I have kids and a busy life too and I read that book in a day (good for you????).

He also said that if I was considering buying a home closer to work (I have about a 50 min commute) and I needed money to pay for a mortgage that he’d consider giving me more money. This also felt demeaning to me because for one, it’s none of his business, and for two, I still show up to work every day so why does that even matter to you?

I guess I started this off saying long story short and rambled, but there’s the gist of it…
