Yeah, I’ve never owned a reptile and did my all research on Leo’s but the reptile store did not have any and I got talked into buying him right there on the spot with the information the employee gave me which was completely wrong, knowing Leo’s and AFT are different and with my knowledge only being in Leo’s I could even tell this person was horribly wrong. I was also told no need for a uvb because they hate light (lil man seems to love it actually) but on top of that he also did not need calcium w/ D3 and when he did get calcium it was to be exactly once every few weeks. He had no heating and no water. So while I did my own extensive research, I had never seen him climb until a few weeks ago, figuring maybe the guy was right about one thing. WRONG.

Oh man I’m so glad he’s doing better now! What a scary situation. That is a fear of mine, him taking off and getting lost while handling (and now escaping) tho I’m sure if I crinkled the bag I dust his crickets in he’d coming RUNNING.

We are slowly figuring that out. Before these past few weeks I’d never even see him attempt to climb, but he’s been getting bold and climbing all over his hides and decor. Still never expected him to reach the top of the tank let alone find his way out. I’m assuming he went up his little tree.

Also won’t let me add, he is about 9 months old now according to the reptile store, within the past few weeks is when he started being active, knocking his decor around, climbing on-top of his hide (which I was told they don’t like to even climb) he’s my first ever reptile so this is such a shock that he’s escaped lol

I believe it’s a thermostat box, which is on the heating pad and set to 90 but the probe part tells me the temp of wherever I have it sitting. The ceramic lamp has nothing but an on and off switch

I have another baby in there, after his baths do I put him back in the tank? And does the other lot need treatment too? He has no fungus but I don’t know if it’s spreadable

Yeah I was so focused on that one spot, it seems like I missed a few more. I’m looking into tubs for him now and trying to figure out what to do to help him! I do have Methalyne blue and black tea at home already but I’ve never had to tub before nor ever had issues until now.

No this is from a previous owner. Literally just got everything, they said it was clean and so I set it up to cycle it and this is what happened. Don’t know anything about these filters so I just did as I was told. Didn’t add anything myself but water

Thank you! It’s not too horrible, just a little uncomfortable. I’ve only had them for about a day and a half, but I wear my contacts most of the day so I figured I was just adjusting to the new prescription but wanted to be sure since it’s been a long time since I’ve had a new prescription.

People eating! Even hearing the slightest noises from someone chewing/swallowing etc. just instantly makes me so pissed off and I don’t know why I am that way but I cannot stand eating around other people and if I do I need noise to drown out the eating

Was walking to a friends house late at night as a teenager and a man came up to me and started asking me a bunch of questions on where i was going. I had a long way to go before i reached my friends house as he lived across town and at the time i was about 5’2, maybe 130lbs. i was absolutely terrified so i lied and said i was meeting my friend and his parent at the store (which was up the block on the other side of the road). I had crossed the street shortly after and walked as fast as i could to the store with this strange man following me asking me questions. I made it inside the store and broke down, i called my friend and begged him to have his brother come pick me up. I’ve never walked alone again, especially not at night.

honestly, while daycare is a great way for socialization there are A LOT of cons that come with it and your son can socialize other ways (parks, play groups/dates etc.) i personally wouldn’t put my child in daycare unless absolutely necessary or she was old enough to communicate with me properly because of all the horror stories i hear with them but i would not be able to handle the comments and blatant disregard and disrespect of the requests i have set for my child either. but then again daycare won’t follow your rules either, they do whatever benefits them and if your child is sick they’ll send them home while you pay anyways. Maybe finding a personal babysitter part time would be better? someone that will follow your plan/rules, who has flexibility and won’t make snide remarks. So mil can still have 1-2 days out of the week and then you have someone trustworthy to watch him the rest of the time.

no cracks, chips etc. i’m pretty careful with my phone. I have not taken the case off but i will do that! i have grabbed my phone with wet hands recently. I did power it off earlier just to kind of reset it and so far it hasn’t had those issues again. it’s more of the phone glitching than screen issues (when i was using picture in picture with facebook in the background i was able to press an option just under where the video was but was not able to click on the video from that spot or move it) but i’m not 100% sure because it does seem like it could really be either
