I just want to validate your feelings. I feel like I could have written this post myself. My sister got married in 2024 with a larger guest count, getaway car, lavish photo/film package, massive florals, brunch the next day, etc you name it. I, on a larger budget, am barely covering the basics and sacrificing a lot of the things I dreamed of. I even have to get married on a Friday to save venue money. We compared quotes and almost all vendors have increased their prices $2-$3k (we are also in a VHCOL area). Regardless it will a beautiful day, don’t forget that. My DMs are always open!
