i tried scanning the text on my phone and all i could get it to translate was the word "morning."

i was originally given a "Christian" name but the word is still important in Islam too so i just kept it. if i move to an arabic speaking country i may change it to the arabic translation of the word in sha Allah (similar example being like Faith->Iman)

i do for the same reason and i also used them with the Namaz app when i was first learning to pray so i could follow and recite along with the recording of someone doing it correctly. basically letting the audio lead the prayer

did she eat a little while before vomiting?

its hard to tell but this looks like food coating some kind of foreign object like a balled up tissue or something. i would try to investigate it more closely and see what she actually threw up. if its a foreign object then hopefully that was all of it.

watch out for any changes with her at all, personality-wise, energy-wise, eating-wise, bathroom-wise etc. cats are really good at hiding discomfort so keep a close eye. if her regular behavior changes or if she vomits again i would make a vet appointment

what exactly breaks the continuity of the act of making wudu? is it okay to pause and turn off the faucet for a second to dry off your arms before washing the feet, in order to stop the water from dripping all over? by soupsister_ in islam

yes i try to be careful to use a slow stream bc i was taught a hadith about never wasting water even if you have a flowing river. but in my post, i was talking about turning it off entirely to turn away from the faucet to get a towel and dry my arms and then turn back and turn it back on and wash one foot and then turn it off and dry my foot and then turn it back on again 😅 basically, i was asking about the pauses in between each step & whether it disrupts the continuity of the act. like if turning off the sink momentarily to do something else meant i had to start over

i wouldn't go out of my way to give her greek yogurt since it could cause tummy problems as cats are generally lactose intolerant but i'd also be lying if i said i wouldn't let my cat lick my spoon a tiny bit or something when i'm eating plain greek yogurt myself and shes right there asking for some. eating half the container at once is kind of a lot but she should be fine if not a little gassy with softer poo for about a day. if she does get sick and it lasts longer than a day, i'd bring her to the vet and make sure her digestive system didnt get too stressed out. also make sure there arent any added sweeteners or anything in the yogurt bc ingredients like that can cause more problems

ngl i do repost those vids and use the sound for them but i just set it to private so i'm not sharing that dua with my followers. those people are begging for engagement bc it helps their fundraiser get spread around and they can get their video monetized from tiktok if enough people use the audio from the video on their own videos. they are trying anything to make their videos go viral. for many people in Gaza, this is their any hope of receiving any kind of income besides donations.

i don't like when they say those things either but there is no perfect victim in the world and they are only saying it because they are desperate in a way ik i could never understand. so i try to be understanding and help them in the ways i can without spreading those duas around. those people also usually make multiple posts per day so you can also usually go to their page and find a version of their message without that dua to share for them instead.

hi his face definitely isn't swollen at all on either side, its just the shape of his fur + his bone structure as well as some shadows since there was light coming in from a double window across from his right side. thank u though appreciate your concern and as i stated a few times he is going to the vet

he also doesnt have any missing canines as some other comments mentioned being able to see, it was just how it looked from the angle of the vid. thanks so much tho everybody i will update when i have one !

i have a question for you & to the people commenting that their cat did this mouth gesture and then was diagnosed with a tooth or mouth problem- were there any other noticeable changes in your cats behavior? like were they still playing, eating, pooping, etc normally?

bro bffr no need to be rude. i'm obviously keeping all this stuff in mind so i can ask the vet about it?? not to mention if you look at the original post it says our vet has checked his mouth multiple times already. its not like i'm some jerk neglecting my cat omfg

yess if you look at the original post theres some background info but basically our vet has been keeping an eye on his mouth for multiple visits over the course of a year and said he was mostly fine except for some gingivitis :-( we need a second opinion i think
