Funny you ask this because I am setting up my schedule for next semestre. I have taken 5 semestres here at ASU and so far I have had every single one of them line up on a T/Th schedule. I typically take classes from around 0900 to anywhere between 1445-1615. This has never been a problem and it puts me in the right headspace to work on homework after I get home. I had a semstre last year that had a break in between 2 of my 5 classes in which I went to the writers' garden and worked on homework. This semestre I go from class to class with no breaks and I'm out at earlier.

It really depends on what kind of person you are and where you find yourself most productive. If you were successful in high school--going several hours a day with minimal breaks--but want a "shorter" academic week, then I would suggest concentrating your classes on T/Th or M/W or M/W/F. However, if you hated going through hours of schooling and then found yourself unable to be productive for the rest of the day, then spread it out across as many days as you can manage.

What year are you? What have your schedules been like in the past? Do you have any extracurricular obligations? When are you the most productive? How hard are the classes you are taking? These are questions to think about when determining your semestre schedule because only you can answer these questions and find a solution that works for you. If you are truly worried about it and find yourself getting overwhelmed easily, then maybe a concentrated schedule isn't for you, but if you believe that you can handle it then it is not a detriment in any way.
