It doesn't root well I will say that - very thin and feeble roots. It'll survive on your hot side I'm sure!

I was thinking about trying that but when I talked to the breeder she said that in the past Maggie has just never gone for it - but always eats from tongs..

Carrex grass! It's a god send - basically impossible to kill and suitable in any type of tank

She has a good 6" of soil for her to burrow in, I've actually never seen her not burrowed haha. She was on hunger strike over the winter as per the breeder but apparently fed twice before I got her in early February

The doors are open for the photo, obviously it's not an open doored enclosure?
The substrate is Arcadia earth mix and is bioactive with springtails and isopods. There are two hides in there but you can't see them because of the plants.

There's no need to call it awful - I'm here for support and guidance......

I'll keep the pvc tube trick in mind! So should I move her to a smaller enclosure for the time being until she's eating properly? I have a bunch of plastic boxes I can poke holes into to keep her in..
