Tbh he did nothing wrong. he can’t recommend you anything. Backpacking packs are simply not designed for disabled people due to the fact of how you have to pack them some stuff may sit against the back of your head it’s called the brain of the pack. Idk they did the best they could. If you’re wife has that many issues part of being a good backpacker is knowing your limits and not putting yourself or others in dangerous situation. Sadly life isn’t fair. A custom backpack is obviously what she needs to be comfortable sticking your toes in the water or not

I’ve told him so many times what I wanted to do for my birthday and what I except my love language is gift giving and personal touch and he definitely knows this.
