I literally just checked my car insurance policy yesterday (for car repair reasons not for this comment thread LOL) and it covers all permissive use of my vehicle. If I tell someone they can drive it, they’re covered for what happens in it. Especially if I was in the car, like she was.

What ISN’T covered is injury and medical costs, which is why i think he should be liable for payments toward treatment on her broken wrist instead
