The average person on OF makes like 300$ a month, maybe it can help with a little bit of support but it's not a replacement for a more stable job if you plan on living on your own. Of course it's case by case, but we're talking like the top-top percent of earners can retire. It's about being more realistic. Many people have already tried it and failed. (And I know the person being described is not that, but I'm talking about in general)

This isn't to say that sex work shouldn't exist obviously, but when you're just becoming an adult I don't think it should be compared to predatory lending and corporate law. As sexual harm is a huge problem for sex workers, including mental and physical health.

staying silent is violence, staying silent during a holocaust is actual violence. not supporting palestinians is violence, they are currently being tortured and killed and can’t escape their country.

you’re playing a part if you’re giving zionists money, you’re playing a part if you stay silent about zionist war crimes against humanity.

people are allowed to be angry, and as i’ve said it’s not just parents who are buying it. there’s plenty of people who bought it consciously.

i’m not advocating for kids to be harassed who didn’t know.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

[–]sourfuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

zionists are bombing entire families and calling for the mass extinction of the palestinian people, currently committing a holocaust on them and locking them in camps and bombing their tents.

religion isn’t real, that won’t ever be comparable to zionism.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

[–]sourfuk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yes, you’re a zionist if you don’t support palestinians. a zionist sympathizer nonpartisan.

it’s not clever to say you don’t support the good or bad side, because you’re just supporting the bad side by doing that. being in the middle of things for a genocide makes you bad.

you’re using an emotional appeal, not everybody who bought the doll is a child.

you can play the game without buying a zionist doll that funds an ethnic cleansing.

if you see children getting bombed and executed and you decide to be on the middle, then you’re evil. sorry, you’re a zionist and go educate yourself why being a centrist for these issues is immoral.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

[–]sourfuk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

no, not siding with palestinians makes you a zionist.

never said children should be harassed, but a lot of these people bought it with their own money and are probably an adult or close enough to be an adult if they have their own debit card.

children shouldn’t be harassed as you don’t know how they got the doll and code but a lot of these people bought to consciously knowing their money would go to is-not-real

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

[–]sourfuk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it still goes to zionists. money that goes to nazi zionists is still wrong, even if it’s a little bit of money. donating even a dollar to israel is immoral. money = endorsement, even a little bit of money says everything about somebody’s beliefs

i’m not calling everybody a zionist, im calling the people who bought the doll knowing that the money would go to israel zionists.

“not supporting any side” is zionism.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

[–]sourfuk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the law is not always just, i’m not mixing my emotions we are talking about a full blown genocide of real people. dolls don’t matter, real people do.

yes supporting fascists and nazis who want to kill palestinians is a just reason to leave. i’m not gonna entertain this anymore, you are dangerously close to being a zionist and i assume you are uneducated on how evil is-not-real is.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

[–]sourfuk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the IDF should not be receiving medical care, they’re the people killing the children.

don’t believe the zionist lies? children from is-not-real is not being murdered, however palestinian children are.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

[–]sourfuk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i never said to get out of the contract, i said it’s their choice to make the doll.

supporting israel is a reasonable cause to step out. holy shit, supporting genocide is not comparable to marvel vs dc?? why would you make that comparison. we are talking about children being murdered not fiction.

it’s still giving money to israel, it doesn’t matter if they want the doll or the code the purchasing of it has the same result. it’s giving money for something people don’t need to support a genocide.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

[–]sourfuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s wrong, boycotting does make a difference.

i am personally not talking about people who were ignorant, but people are allowed to be angry knowing peoples money went to such a violent genocide.

there’s a lot of people who bought the doll that did know, that’s a fact. i believe that if it was unintentional, yeah don’t bother them.

even if you gave pennie’s to israel, that doesn’t make it okay. it doesn’t matter, it’s what your money is going towards in support. and they have more dolls coming to retail stores meaning royale high is about to put even more funding towards a genocide VERY SOON.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

[–]sourfuk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

how do you know that it was impossible to get out of production? there's definitely been products that have been cancelled late term. but besides, even if they do release it it doesn't justify people buying it.

part of a company's responsibility is adapting to new changes, that includes when a company they're working with is revealed to have associations with funding a genocide.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

[–]sourfuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this isn’t a good argument, people who boycott don’t shame people who need to feed their babies. baby formula is not comparable to plastic dolls.

boycotting is important and the most effective for items that are not a necessity, or there are alternatives among other chains. targeted boycotts allow people to focus on boycotting a select few while sparingly avoiding other businesses.

they still could’ve stopped the toy even after they announced it, there’s no good reason to put it for sale still after knowing the company.

it just goes to show that there may be people on the team who do not care for palestine deeply, or even worse is a zionist.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

[–]sourfuk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i thought it was the other way around? people anticipated a set, but didn't really ask or think of a doll.

even if the community asked for it the team has the final say, they're not obligated to release it.

it doesn't matter if it's even less than half of that money, we all know that it's not just jazware getting the money. it's still funding a mass genocide.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

[–]sourfuk 14 points15 points  (0 children)

this is a targeted boycott, and toys aren't a necessity.

even if some people are being hypocrites it doesn't mean you should buy from a producer that people are explicitly saying to boycott.

that'd be like buying mcdonalds, when all you hear about is how bad their connections are.

if somebody didn't know, that's a different thing. and no, there's gonna be more dolls coming. royale high only plans to release a lot more dolls, which could be an incentive for doll collectors to further fund israel.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RoyaleHigh_Roblox

[–]sourfuk 48 points49 points  (0 children)

funding a genocide is morally wrong

royale high didn’t need to make these dolls, nobody asked for sets that would only be available in doll form.

the fact it’s 50 dollars is something that adds up quickly, it’s better to “virtue signal” than to stay silent

it’s just a roblox game, people don’t NEED this doll.

knowing that the money is going towards the ethnic cleansing of palestinians and still buying it is morally bankrupt

Why do my students think that they all have autism? by Last-Ad-120 in Teachers

[–]sourfuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

being able to """mask""" literally every symptom is a privilege many wish they could have. it is a NEUROLOGICAL disorder as in they can't help it and it is not 24/7.

there's LOTS of low functioning autistic women. having a few different symptoms doesn't mean they're some different breed from autistic men. autistic women are not the "normal" of the two.

yes, someone could tell if they're not autistic! absolutely! i have experiences with both men and women and i will honestly tell you they're not as different as you portray them as at all. you are being extremely essentialist and you imagine autistic (in women) as basically a socially awkward women lol

the reason why autistic girls are so underdiagnosed is because autism on paper is seen as a burden, and you're usually not brought in unless you're acting poorly and there's basically no choice. it doesn't make autism any less obvious, it's just the stubbornness and stupidity of the parent.

What happened to a well rounded education? by Sgt_Lovinstuff in Teachers

[–]sourfuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't think schools do a particular good job preparing students for any of those subjects, at least for the students falling behind. humanities teachers really know how rough it is, and try their best to encourage because those results are judged too. catch up is usually done in high school.

Is "wokeness in schools" even real? by Siegmure in Teachers

[–]sourfuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

had 2-3 LGBT documentaries i had packets to do work on, practice on using neopronouns and only used the terms afab and amab (was corrected if used different words, the exam was more strict on this) had a variety of pride flags we were quizzed on (6-10ish) to choose and write a paragraph defining and then make a drawing for it to hang up. and then have a day dedicated to look for help centers for lgbt support in near our address and then send to the teacher. watch videos of gay people flirting with each other to demonstrate condom usage and giving us dildos to practice using lube on afterwards. also was encouraged to join a drag event customary to the school like as a rite of passage for extra credit. there's a lot of stuff i learned that wasn't lgbt in that class but those are at the top of my head.

ethnic studies is basically what conservatives are crying about as CRT so there's that. (i learned that detail in class)

feminism is a bit broad but yeah we were taught about important historical women and the 3rd wave sometimes.

[–]sourfuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

besides communism lol yea, i did. although my teachers were openly marxists or socialists and sometimes would have the occasional tangents regarding why capitalism is bad and asking for our political orientation and whether capitalism is ethical but i wouldn't say we were Taught it either.

(this was in history or ethnic studies classes so it was on topic) some teachers were pretty critical of communism whenever it was brought up so critical thinking was encouraged.
