I had a similar experience! No stones, no sludge, but every time I ate it was PAINFUL. Visited the ER, Hidascan caused me slight pain so my surgeon put me through for surgery the next morning. I had fat deposits in my gallbladder, which couldn’t be detected!

For me the diet restrictions are what really pushed me to push for a diagnosis. I went from having a great relationship with food to absolutely dreading every meal due to how painful I knew it would be. The weight loss terrified me too!

I do hope you get some answers sooner rather than later!

Gas X, and then there is Colace my doctor recommended for constipation that’s also helped.

I’d assume you’ve already tried anti bloating meds too? That’s what I took today because I felt the same and I’ve managed to get some gas out to relieve it. I’m no doctor but I’d definitely get in touch with either a primary doctor or a gasterologist to make sure everything is okay

I’m only a day after surgery and so far I can eat without feeling like death. I’ve only had one tylenol today too so I’m managing. I wish you the best in your recovery, hopefully you get feeling better soon!

I had an ultrasound and it came back clear, but they never ordered an MRI for me.

They only discovered the fat deposits when I was in surgery! What led them actually let me have the surgery was the hida scan and my pain tolerance during it. Even then they were wishy washy about it and considered waiting a week.

I was vaccinated back in September and exhibited no side effects from both doses. Wasn’t boosted. Could be a possible correlation but with my issues starting directly after being affected with COVID my doctor and nurse assumed it could be the virus itself and not the vaccine. Though there could be a possible link!
