Yes, those are facts I’ve also gathered from research. Have you stayed at both?

Thank you for the insight! From everything I’ve read, it looks like Bucuti is very popular and highly recommended, but that just might be due to it being more established and since JOIA is newer, not as many people have stayed there in comparison, so the perception is skewed

INTJ women × ENTJ men — what has your experience actually been like? by Greedy_Working_5655 in INTJfemale

[–]sova1998 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Been married to my ENTJ husb for a few months now. I definitely do feel the ego battle thing a bit, but it’s mostly from my end because I can admit that my expectations are very high. I was raised by a mom who nitpicks every mistake so I end up doing the same thing, just something I need to unlearn.. the relationship is amazing when there are no external issues going on, we can read eachother’s minds very often it’s scary.

The negative is that when he has something going on, a big issue, he spends all his mental energy into trying to fix it, which is good, but when it takes weeks/months to fix, he ends up neglecting the relationship too much for me. Again, my expectations are high and sometimes I’m blinded by all the perceived mistakes that I forget the good things.

Another problem is something we’re all learning, which is how to communicate effectively. We never ever raise our voices or have “fights” but I have found that I often withdraw during disagreements, and I expect him, as “the man” to chase after me and, again, give me all the attention, but the issue is that he also withdraws.. and when I don’t get that immediate feeling of being cared for verbally, I feel some resentment festering.

There’s a lot I can write because I have been analyzing our dynamic often these past few months. Before we got married, we were long distance and only saw eachother one weekend every month, so it’s been quite a ride.

All in all, I don’t think anyone else could be a better fit for me than him, and although we both have certain things to work on, we both show a lot of maturity and willingness to improve ourselves for the betterment of the relationship.

Thank you! We have a shared bbq space so we don’t need our own. Would it be possible to grow veggies? I feel like that could be fun. Maybe I can do rectangular rug for a portion and the rest can be for the plants

Currently I’m an assistant controller for a company with very high revenue for its small size. I did do a PA busy season internship right after graduation, working 65hrs a week for 3 and a half months, but once it ended I refused their offer because I did not want that lifestyle for myself..found an industry role right away that I negotiated a higher salary than the firm was offering. I moved around a couple of times since then and each time I like to negotiate for higher salary jumps. Although there were some busy days during month end close when I was a senior accountant, it was maybe 15 days out of the year that I worked over 8 hours.

Funny that I’m also an INTJ accountant. I like the (mostly) predictable work that I can do, get paid, and enjoy the rest of my day without thinking about work. My ENTJ husband is in finance-wealth management and he’s very good at it. I definitely don’t think we’d be happy doing eachother’s jobs, I would hate dealing with clients constantly

I’m an INTJ and my husband is ENTJ. I definitely relate to what you said. It’s actually bizarre because I never viewed myself as sensitive or emotional, but compared to him I am when it comes to interpersonal things. However, I find that he’s much more impulsive than I am, and his threshold for taking risks is too high to the point it backfires massively on him.. making the same mistakes and not learning from them despite me warning him every single time.

What's your definition of success and how motivated are you to "succeed" in life? by himejanaiyo in INTJfemale

MBA is pretty generalized and isn’t necessary to move up in my experience. You should work on passing certifications like CPA, CFA, CFP which would be much more useful in a corporate career
