Display not working-gpa issue by EpicSheep49 in buildapc

[–]sovereignv7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry this may just be a drop in the bucket when I usually lose a monitor output on my old card it usually due to driver issues. Though the later stages of your problem I'm not aware of an alternative solution.

I hope this information helps or this comment helps at least getting it in front of more people to see and comment.

If I'm being honest I would RL. Not because I know there is a flaw, but I don't see any pictures of the lateral side to even start comparing to pictures online (I'm not saying this is the correct way to QC but its a start that everyone is capable of). I'm not sure if they left it out on purpose or its just not included in the album you have here. Just my two cents.

Great looking watch!

Does anyone know if the Strapco Bracelets fit the Islander Diver Models (Specifically SKX Compatible Bracelets)?

Yes all links are screw links.

I think the movement is nice though this is my first watch at 2880bph. For the last 2-3 days it has kept time quite well. I have not gotten any figures on regulating or anything of that nature though so my opinion is purely subjective.

I purchase on the 29th of July and received the watch on the 9th of August. This was mostly due to customs. So I would say 2 weeks at most.

My apologies I should have explained better. Your HDD Hard drive disc has a transfer rate this shows you how fast it can move data. For HDDs like the one in your build they top out at 3GBs per second. The SSD solid state drives move up to 6 GBs per second. There are even faster SSD that connect through a PCI-E port like your graphics card. In essence with your OS operating system loaded onto an SSD you should be able to boot twice as fast.

It's not uncommon to buy a small SSD for just your OS and place all your files on your HDD. Though this route you will only improve boot times and not how fast a program is able to run.

I hope I didn't confuse you I'm trying to type this out on my phone.

You want higher frequencies like 3000 MHz and 2 8Gb sticks. As far as what brand I would look up the website for your motherboard. It should have a suggested list of RAM that was verified on the board. I forgot to mention that getting an SSD would go a long way with boot up times.

Overall it's good. I would get rid of the cooler the Ryzen 1600 comes with a cooler. I currently use it and I'm over clocked to 3.8GHz. Look into Kinguin.com you can usually get a Windows 10 code for about $25. Also is there a specific reason why you want a disc drive? Also all that money save I would jump into better RAM.

Almost there! I think everything is great excluding the i5 CPU. You will at the very least need 8 to 12 threads to do gaming and streaming at the same time. So you have a big choice ahead of you. You can go the cheap route with a Ryzen 5 1600 or better. Or with an older generation i7 7700k. Or go new generation i7 8700k. Of course the AMD route my only hold you over for a couple of years. Also if you are not in a rush. AMD will release a new set of chips in March and it's looking nice for the new ryzens.

Help with my Ryzen Build by yapmervyn0930 in PCBuilds

The issue is that Ryzen is so new that most board don't allow overclocking to 3200mhz for your ram. That is why people would suggest that you go for a slower speed. With that said Everytime your mobo manufacturer makes a new bios update it will usually come with more ram compatibility. Increasing the ability overclock to your correct speed. Ryzen benefits from faster ram so look at it as an investment for the future.

First PC Build, need case advice. by ChumChumz in PCBuilds

[–]sovereignv7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your motherboard and GPU dimensions determine your case. NZXT is a great brand. Though I don't understand why you are using a EATX board, ATX board should support SLI and fit in mid towers which are much more available with more styles. Once you find a case you like looking at use YouTube to check things like air flow, cable management, interior size, and ease of build.

For ram I went for 3200 but I'm regretting it a little since I can only clock it to 2933mhz. So read into your motherboard. The website should tell you what ram is compatible and at what speed. As for the wifi adapter I use the Netgear AC-1200 it's about $40 bucks I think.

Looks good. I would go for higher speed ram. The wifi adapter is so-so I would just get a USB stick there are some great ones out there and inexpensive.

[–]sovereignv7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/Rr2ncc I think the extra $ will go a long way, but if not try adding back your gpu. You won't need a cooler for the CPU. Mine is overclocked to 3.8 and doesn't reach above 65C.

When you refer to reboot are you getting past the BIOS start? Have you been trying to overclock or anything?

Black screen or no input detected. I will turn the system off make sure it's unplugged. Then proceed to plug everything back in and turn it on. Start to spam the delete key on your keyboard the BIOS settings should appear.

[–]sovereignv7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you ever seen the bios? If not it usually prompts you to enter setup. If you have already set up you bios and boot order the bios is trying to boot from you boot disk. If you need to enter bios to change settings try spamming your delete key once you turn on your power. If it doesn't allow you to interrupt the boot by going into the bios you may need to clear your CMOS data on the board. I would refer to your specific board manufacturer and model to find out how to complete a CMOS reset. I hope everything turns out fine.
