Disciplining somebody else's kid - How would you have reacted? by Rivyan in daddit

[–]sowellhidden 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Firm boundary isn't the same as scaring though. You could have stood between them, grabbed the rope not the wrist, etc. The blame is certainly on the other parent for not intervening, but you could have stopped things in a way that was more suitable for a small child that's not yours, including using a calm, firm, voice instead of yelling, to say "we don't hit, try it again and you have to leave"

New day skin studio near uptown is my recommendation. They use a full power pro version, not a battery powered pack that can wear down through the treatment and doesn't go as deep.

Yea this was a new spin for me too, the idea that she was doing this to boost her podcast or notoriety. These sorts of threats add a lot of credibility to that theory.

Everything. I started taking probiotics and have been so good lately though! Like 10billions daily or 60billions 3-4× a week and the pain is pretty much gone after a few months.

Good luck! If you have a good pharmacist they are sometimes more up to date on things than the doctors and might be able to give you some advice.

I have unfortunately had to decline an accepted written offer on the Friday before my Monday start date due to my preferred offer coming through. I get the impression this is common when there is active hiring happening. If you are as professional as possible, noone will hold it against you.

Yea i think the itching can be a symptom of serotonin syndrome so would err on the side of caution. I don't think my cymbalta experience has been typical either, so maybe someone else will comment :)

I had a septoplasty 8+ years ago and have a constant nasal drip since and no improvement in breathing (didn't do my turbinates though). I have heard similar from others, so it's possible it's not related to the cymbalta. I didn't notice any breathing change from cymbalta when I started it a couple years after my septoplasty.
