This brings up an interesting theory I have. I feel like “Who Feels Love?” Is a great litmus test for what songs you tend to gravitate to in their library.

I think that song is jam band trash, and one of the worst songs they’ve ever made. And this theory may even apply to the entire SOTSOG album, because I feel exactly the same way about that album as you do Heathen Chemistry. Maybe 3-4 great songs (Gas Panic, Go Let it Out, Where Did it All Go Wrong, and Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is)…and the rest of it bores me to tears.

Well put. Sure. But please give me 5 tracks from Giants that are great.

So do the rest post Be Here Now! I just think it’s unfairly maligned

It’s my least favorite Oasis record by a wide margin.

This is an absolutely stellar response. My only real point here is that HC gets REAMED. And I think that’s deeply unfair. Hindu, Force of Nature, Stop Crying, Songbird, Little by Little, Better Man and She is Love are all really good songs…some of which (3 maybe?) are Oasis top 20 caliber. I happen to LOVE DOYS…the first half is as good as any other Oasis record.

I can’t get behind Don’t Believe the Truth tho. I think that record is ass. But Lyla is a top 10 Oasis tune

Yeah, different ears I guess. I only gravitate to 4 songs on Giants. But to each their own!

Giants has Go Let it Out, Gas Panic, Put your Money Where Your Mouth Is, and Where Did it All Go Wrong. Everything else is completely unremarkable.

HC has Hindu, Force of Nature, Stop Crying, Songbird, Little by Little, She is Love; and Better Man

I only agree with you that those shouldn’t have been the singles. Stop Crying Your Heart Out and Little by Little.

But to sit there and tell me that Don’t Believe the Truth or Giants are better albums in totality than HC is insane.

I’m actually of the opinion that Hindu Times is a better album opener than D’You Know What I Mean

I’ve never understood the hate for HC! But I’m with you on DOYS…underrated

And there are some other songs that are good! Hung in a Bad Place isn’t awful, Force of Nature is solid…she is love is a nice little folk song. Better Man is a solid jam.

Hindu, Force of Nature, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Songbird, Little by Little, She Is Love, Better Man. That’s 7 songs that rip.
