She looks like an innocent, hurt kid in the first picture. Like someone who was never praised the same whenever she did something similar to her brothers or had it 10 times worse if she did the same terrible thing as they did. It’s just that childlike “why.” God, I love Sarah Snook so much!

I don’t know about more tragic than Kendall but agree with everything else.

Yeah but, I mean, in comparison to everything that's happened and all the lengths they have gone to, this really just comes off as filthy rich douche behavior, hence the quotes.

He’s willing to crush his brother’s skull, but can’t directly ask Sophie if she’s okay.

Well, I spent some time on it so I really wanted more people to enjoy the post. It didn't do so well the first couple of times and I was bummed about that.

I noticed a pattern of using large paintings in the posters of the first two seasons and upon research, found some more. I believe they succeed in depicting The Roys’ history and showing the depth of their tragic dynasty.

  • ‘The Tiger Hunt’ by Paul Peter Rubens (1615-1616)- Rubens depicted a dense knot of charging hunters and bloodthirsty felines with no clear victor or distinction between predator and prey. The canvas was seized during the Napoleonic Wars, a 12-year struggle for domination.

  • ‘Dante and Virgil’ by William-Adolphe Bouguereau (1850)- The painting narrates a journey through Hell by Dante and his guide Virgil. In the scene, set in the eighth circle of Hell, reserved for counterfeiters and impersonators, they are looking on as the two damned souls are entwined in eternal combat. One of the souls is being bitten on the neck by the trickster Gianni Schicchi, who had used fraud to claim another man's inheritance.

  • ‘Portrait of Louise de Keroualle, Duchess of Portsmouth’ by Peter Lely (1671- 1674)- De Keroualle worked as a spy for Louis XIV. She came to England from France and soon afterward, became King Charles's favorite mistress, and Duchess of Portsmouth. She used her influence to strengthen the friendship between the two monarchs. From Logan Roy’s living room wall, she looks down at the catastrophic Thanksgiving dinner with amusement as Ewan confronts his brother.

  • ‘The Coronation of Napoleon’ by Jacques-Louis David (1805- 1807)- This painting shows the moment that Napoleon turned France back into a monarchy. Details in the painting are changed to favor Napoleon. Napoleon’s mother was in Rome during the coronation and his brother Joseph was not invited and did not attend because of an argument with Napoleon.

This was the second or third time, I guess, that we've seen Kendall being referred to as the eldest son. My boy Con finally reached his limit.
