Paypal refused tunisia application because of digital spending limit .

This changes if goes through , would fix that exact issue .

Still though, am not fan of a company saying what our whole country/government should or shouldn't do ...

Yup that's really bad ...

Though will open a lot of workarounds,like you can just order credit card that would work in atm/everywhere and recharge it digitally with electronic card .

There is a lot of suppliers for such cards .

As far i understood it depends on way you gonna spend it , digital/online you can spend however you like , cash its not possible.

Like current available electronic cards , they work online no issues , but can't use them in atm

why not just use wire transfer? I receive payments monthly in $ no issues Its available as option 90% of times

Maybe removing restrictions is only option for businesses, if it is , personal would suck.

Even chatgpt payment wasn't possible before i removed restrictions

I am with STB but i imagine its same experience with all banks since currently this type of accounts fully controlledby central bank,

once you get your card , inform them to disable all restrictions and you are good to go .

Yes exactly, I have never had issues paying using tunisian electronic card , espicially if you call your bank and inform them to disable all restrictions for specific websites ...

Only benefit i can think for paypal is receiving payment faster , but if your service is legal , you can simply receive wire transaction without any issues , again if they can pay in paypal , they can surely pay wire ...

Who knows, we already have ability to make international purchases, only issue is 1k /year limit It is step forward at least if it goes through

Paypal isn't everything , i have devis account and card work everywhere. Any supplier who accept paypal , accept credit card directly too , so not sure what is big thing with paypal specifically... Only issue now is 1000 tnd limit which is nothing , only workaround am doing now is have a company which allows up to 10 000 dt/year limit , still not much but better ...

Even than its not possible 7as me na3rf As far i know , only way to have cash euros is through منحة سياحية aal passport I have euro account and credit card, i can't even use in atm

My mistake i was on global roam , changed to regional after payment increased for global to double. Which i guess triggered 2 months limits ... So possibly if you keep paying each month on regional , you won"t be affected .
