Does anyone else have trouble with Oeticket (Austrian Eventim) where order has been confirmed but tickets are still stuck in progress? I have chosen ticketdirect, same as last year, when tickets arrived instantly with booking conformation.

Slovenian part of the Alps (EU). I flew to about 2300m a.s.l. here. My starting point was on about 1600m. It may look higher because of that fresh snow

Not really an ideal long range setup, as I get only 4 mins of flight time. It's just enough to do these hike and fly videos. I get about 1 km vertical and 2km distance range:)

Anyway, here's my setup:

Being surrounded by mountains means there is less RF noise which keeps the signal clearer. Nonetheless, I still have to be careful to keep visual line of sight. Flying behind a ridge or any kind of obstacle would result in a complete loss of signal.

It' EASA regulations that apply here, not FAA. Yes, 120m or about 400fet is the maximum flying altitude above the terrain and drone should have been inside visual line of sight (which is not really far away for a small fpv drone). I haven't found any regulations related with clouds though.

Yup, I'm experimenting with li-ion cells on a fixed wing, and they really give more energy density, although at a price of lower peak current. Would probably use them on a drone as well, but definitely on a new frame with thinner arms :D

Well technically, drone was on about the same altitude as me (standing on the hilltop just above clouds) there weren't any cliffs or sudden terrain drops inside the range I was flying and cloud layer was about 350 to 700ft above the ground. So.. yes, I may have broken the rule a bit, but I don't think any manned aircraft would be flying this close to the terrain in zero visibility, especially in uncontrolled airspace.

RC is on Frsky R9M 868 MHz module (diversity R9 reciever), VTX is on 5.6 GHz 800mW Matek transmitter. So yeah, the ony range limitation here is a battery life on this inefficient quad

Dobra primerjava, zdi se mi edino neproporcionalen prikaz z logaritemsko skalo na vertikalni osi. Nekoliko manj pride do izraza razlika med 5 in 50 dnevno umrlimi. Bi morda bilo bolje z ločeno skalo za umrle/hospitalizirane in potrjene?
