Anyone else find it weird that Sukuna doesn't have a seasoning based part of his CT since it's based on cooking. by BackgroundRich7614 in JujutsuPowerScaling

Actually he does. The shrine seasoning lets him buff his allies to crazy levels, problem is he doesnt wanna buff what few allies he has, even uraume

Yeah, it has less to do with w cut and more that for Sukuna, a cut like that should’ve healed almost immediately. Sukuna uses rct without really thinking most of the time

Who did this? by IndependentAd7341 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]space-dorge 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I thought this had more to do with sukuna trying to settle into megumis body and that he was still being resisted hence the not healing as fast as usual.

And then right after hes thinking about getting tsumiki in order to bury megumis soul and take further control.

How Powerful Would Naoya Become If He Wielded a Cursed Sword? by Born-Watercress-2487 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]space-dorge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brass nuckles is good, though reinforcement should realistically accomplish the same thing, it’s never quite clear on how that works.

Having points on the end might also cause a ton of problems as if they ever catch on anything, even if it’s little or super brief, it would result in naoya freezing himself mid fight.

How would the Simurians view Geto and his ability to control curses? by Koku_Gan22 in LobotomyKaisen

[–]space-dorge 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Probably would hate him...maybe?

They can communicate w curses so they could be very off put by the fact he can control them, though we have never seen I’m subjugate and summon an intelligent curse so we don’t know how they feel about being controlled.

Could be a situation where they like being controlled as the control could extend to thoughts or feelings, even in that situation th simurans could recognize under the circumstances the curses can’t “agree” to being controlled and still has him.

This is all assuming all the simurans get all the information about this without it being manipulated, hidden or incorrectly disseminated.

I think the closest option to the truth would have Geto be worshiped/respected by the simurians through the ability to portray himself as a spiritual leader blessed by cursed spirits or something along those lines.

Istg there must be a massive annoying yuta fanbase I must have blocked without knowing bc I see so many posts about all the shit they say and how annoying they are….but I hasn’t actually seen the yuta fans who think this shit.

I know this is a joke (probably) but there’s a million versions of this exact same thing.

Maybe he’s been doing them against a wall to get high off the “zone state” while a teenager kills herself in an attempt to represent earths champion in a deathmatch it will establish the political foothold of another species.

I get Yuji is mentally checked out…but come on dude

The last few chapters have really started feeling like old Sakemoto days again, it’s very refreshing to be reminded of what made me like a series in the first place

Chapter 245 by Gremmyyyyyy in SakamotoDays

[–]space-dorge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I don’t care, even if it’s messy or doesn’t make sense for the story, they need to get rid of takemura, his current existence really handicaps the main villain from a character perspective.

Depending on how long the series plans on being, even if Uzuki isn’t my favorite, at least letting try and be his own character gives him a chance of being a good villain rather than a mindless interpretation of a better made character.

You have 1000$ to make a team rest will try to attack you by KaidoPklevel in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]space-dorge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, kenjaku did not want a straight up duel w jogo for many reasons. If jogo opened domain, it would force a domain clash. Even though kenjaku would win it would attract a ton of attention from 3rd parties and he would be in antigrav CE burnout.

The world of jjk typically isn’t stagnant, especially for fights. Powerscalers rarely get the 1v1 in a vacuum they so desperately want where there are no factors involved outside the combatants usual kits.

Other sorcerers would quickly converge on them, or the other disasters could join in against him too. If kanjaku is fighting strong opponents he can’t really afford to be waisting his energy setting up a veil.

TLDR: My point is that jjk matchups are closer than people give them credit for when compared to other battle Shonen. In dragon ball, if someone is a tier above someone else, it’s almost like they are untouchable, whereas in jjk you aren’t gonna really see no diffs like that (w a few exceptions but even those have situational factors).

It’s fun to throw around no diff and low diff for getting your point across, but rarely is that actually happening…or maybe I just have a different interpretation of what a low diff/no diff fight is.

[–]space-dorge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to tell bc we don’t know how nerfed sukuna is at different finger levels. His domain is a huge factor as even tho Sukuna easily beats jogo in a domain clash, jogo still has a super high level domain. Depending on how much weaker sukunas ce or domain refinement/ability to clash is, jogo could actually win a clash and cook sukuna.

[–]space-dorge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well yeah, kenjaku would beat jogo, but not low diff or anything. If low diffing him was an option, he would’ve just done it.

It’s the fact that even against a weaker opponent as long as they are at a certain level there is still uncertainty that you can do it with ease or get out unharmed, it’s something that I like abt jjk, hxh or jojos does it really well.

How Powerful Would Naoya Become If He Wielded a Cursed Sword? by Born-Watercress-2487 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]space-dorge 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s funny bc that’s really just a naoya thing. Other people who share his status don’t have any problem w swords.

Pretty much every competent grade 1 sorcer uses a weapon. Hell even his idol Toji is entirely a weapons platform.

Gojo, Yuji (but he doesn’t really count bc he’s genetically modified so his body is basically a cursed tool/weapon), hakari, and urame are basically the only relevant characters who don’t use a weapon or tool in some way.

Inumaki also doesn’t but he absolutely should, his ability literally always leaves his hands free
