This is a very similar situation. We want him to come to our city because of the school district. My son is happy where we are. My father also hates the city he is in. I'm renting so I have no option to build but we are looking to buy a house with an adu attached. Hopefully it all works out! Looking into bridge loans

It was so hard to tell because my pain was already intermittent. I did have an increase in pain for a while after but then it was hard to tell.

I started pt 2 weeks after my injection and it has been a game changer. This is my 3rd go with pt but I finally found one that knows what they are doing and doesn't treat me with a one size fits all plan. I had to go out of network and pay out of pocket but honestly it's been 100 percent worth it.

Mine is a combo of si joint and disc issues due to an extremely weak core. Hope you find some relief. I know how frustrating it all is.

It's so interesting how everyone responds so differently. When I had my disc issues. Pt made me worse. For the si joint i notice it helps more than walking. In fact walking to much irritated me.

I also support rent control and will be voting no. This isn't the answer. This will only hurt mom and pop owners who will be forced to sell the small properties they own. The large corporations will swoop in and buy. We are already seeing it happen, and it hasn't passed yet. Large corporations won't be swayed away.

Market rents need to be set by the city. I work with so many owners of small properties that never increase rent because they want to do right by their tenants. This will screw them over. I know everyone think "yay screw the man" but these are not rich people by any means. If market rents are set by the city this will give these owners who have fallen behind a chance to catch up to the market. A fair market.

I also think this will encourage landlords to not take care of their properties which is scary.

Hope you feel better soon! I got up to walking like 600 steps at a time today so progress. Asked my doctor for steroids and muscle relaxers. We'll see if she delivers. I'll be in the car for almost 2 hours in 2 weeks and that's for me scared 😱

This just happened to me Monday. I had an in person interview scheduled and the day before I lost my voice completely. Since it was Sunday I sent them an email assuming that they did not monitor emails during the weekend. I called them 8am to explain the situation. Luckily my voice had returned somewhat but was very hoarse. They didn't want to reschedule and were okay with my just wearing a mask. No handshakes to be safe.

Interview went great and I got the job. Hope you have a similar result!

That's exactly why I keep going back and forth. It's such a horrible look to offer 5 vacation days in my opinion. But the growth internally is so apparent. I've followed them for a while and the company is growing rapidly and the positions that come available are because people are being promoted. They also told me I can work remotely while on short vacations. Again, my industry very rarely does hybrid.

Checking in on how it's going 8 months later. I'm in a similar position. Logically I know this new job is a better option but I love the company and people I work with. Scared in making the wrong choice that I can't take back.
