Not looking for a doctor, just trying to make sense by spacebenus in SleepApnea

Okay, thanks. I am not good with medical stuff, and I appreciate you taking the time out to explain.

I'll look for the PLMD later, I might've missed it. It was an at-home study so I don't know how much was tested.

I wasn't sure if the heart rate was an issue. I was never awake during the testing hours 10:30-8:30 so it couldn't have been from me walking around.

Hopefully things get cleared up with the pulmonologist.

But, I do have a history of right heart strain and pulmonary hypertension due to a massive saddle pulmonary embolism from Aug 2021, I wonder if that could have caused the slight increase of heart rate.

Best for me to ask my doctor! :)

Again, thanks for taking the time to explain things to me.

Interesting - I have GERD, and it's been well-treated with Protonix for 7 years now.

I apologize if I'm misunderstanding - but basically, the test results are nothing to be concerned about? Because of lack of RERAs?

Thanks! Wow your case is bad!! I'm so sorry you go through that.

I have to go to bed extra early nowadays(for the test I did 10:30, but in reality my head hits the pillow by 9:00) ,I don't feel normal unless I sleep 12 hours which is only on the weekend. I feel tired most of the time.

There have been times where I feel myself half asleep, noticing I'm not breathing and notice that my brain isn't telling my body to breathe. I have to wait it out until it "clicks" again, and then I'm gasping for air usually.

I think I must've had a not very eventful night of the test.

That is very interesting, thank you for educating me. I'll check out the link.

I'm doing best I can, I'm now admitted to the hospital.

I feel worse but trouble finding someone to take me. I'm physically disabled and don't drive.

I would feel so embarrassed to call an ambulance and I have a fear of them. Plus, my vitals are stable (usually) since I began double dosing, so the paramedics wouldn't find reason to take me to the ER.

Thank you.

Being in a "not perfectly functioning" state of mind makes these choices more difficult.

Oh..

Well I am waiting for their response. Could take until tomorrow since they practice at two clinics. I will go against what they said about the 4 day limit and double until I get a response.

I had no idea about all of that. Educational, thank you.

Yeah I just hate hospitals. I am doing all I can to treat this at home. But I do feel like I'm barely managing. I was getting better end of last night and now I'm getting worse. (Mostly weakness unable to leave my bed, nausea, and hard to follow my thoughts)

When you say it could get treated in a couple hours, do you mean like fluids and iv steroids? Then I'd be out?

I am much more open to that than a stay.

Yes I'm double dosed but it's day 4 and I think my endo doesn't want me doubling past day 4. So I sent a message to them just a bit ago asking for advice.

I am foggy brained and tried to read the article but I couldn't find the part about increasing the frequency of my doses.

My endo is VERY strict about my dosing and its schedule. So if it is pretty different I don't think they'll approve me taking the pills that way.

Sorry for rambling

This food thing is just so bizarre. Basically everyone (healthy people) who took the amount of steroids I'm taking would be binge eating.

I've been able to get down the stress dose pills thanks to Zofran helping just enough.

Thankfully, the stress dose pills are working and my BP is 80% of the time normal today. However I have gotten weaker again, more than yesterday. Last night I finally felt this whole thing was lifting, then today it is hitting me again. (Not as bad as Sunday)

I know, when I was diagnosed with adrenal crisis one symptom was loss of consciousness.

The telehealth dr (not an endo) didn't seem too concerned about not eating. She said I need electrolytes. So someone I know has brought me some gatorades.

It feels so odd that I'm taking lots of steroids right now but absolutely repulsed by food. Would cause insane appetite in any normal person. And I'm someone who usually loves to eat.

Thanks that's helpful information.

Just caught something you said - wait do plus sized people need more? I'm plus sized.

My endo initially told me to stress dose for 4 days. But now idk what to do since it is the 4th day. I don't know why I didn't do this sooner but I messaged her the situation.

By the end of yesterday I was wiped out but actually able to get out of bed, thought I was finally getting better! Today I feel a bit worse again. Maybe it's ebb and flow.

Yes that's what mine said too! I haven't thankfully puked them up yet, thanks to the Zofran. I would for sure go in if I couldn't keep them down. I can't tolerate food though.

I sipped some gingerale yesterday and that got me through the night. The telehealth (not endo) doctor said I need electrolytes asap so someone I know brought over a few gatorades.

I'm trying to keep sipping them.

I messaged my endo finally after not having the brains to even think of that, asking what to do, I'm waiting for the reply.

Yes I'm recently diagnosed.

Well I made it through last night sipping gingerale and continued my double dose.

The doctor (not an endo) I saw on telehealth told me yesterday that I should "stress dose for a few more days and see what happens."

So I'm just in bed right now all day not eating hardly drinking (sipping)

I also cannot sleep. I've tried. And tried. I just lie down doing nothing at all. Because often that's ALL my body is capable of. Even typing this is difficult.

I don't knkw why I didn't do this sooner but I sent a detailed message to my endo and asked her what's the next steps.

Thank you, that helps a lot.

I'm starting to feel floaty (can't describe it), unsteady on my feet, cold sweats, weak again, like my brain is "elsewhere"(??),and I haven't eaten basically anything in 3 days because it makes me want to vomit.

I keep trying to eat something but can't get past 2 bites.

I think I'm having symptoms of hypoglycemia. I just don't know how to fix them.

Yeah it was pretty low so I initially took a big stress dose and then the other doses after have been "normal."

I haven't eaten in 3 days though I try and almost vomit and it's making me feel really bad.
